THE UATSI FOUNDATION empowers indigenous communities in Costa Rica to build a future free of poverty and prejudice by facilitating community owned development projects which foster a desire for self-reliance and independence. Providing support and guidance sensitive to local knowledge, skills and needs, THE UATSI FOUNDATION strives to attain positive and sustainable change for the communities it w

orks with. Examples of past projects include building a community farm, providing solar energy to schools & water testing.
