Casa Pampa Santa Teresa is a Permaculture Learning Lab for sustainability and environmental awareness at the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica. We are looking forward contributing in promoting habits towards more ecologic and holistic life in our community while offering an enriching experience for all of you out there! Whether you are a surfer, a yogi, an artist, a health guru or a permaculture act

ivist, we have got you covered with activities, workshops and projects with high social impact in the community where your skills will be more than welcome. If you are a student or a professional interested in an internship or a volunteer opportunity to expand your knowledge, being part of collaborative social programs by co-working with us, we will give you the opportunity to do so in Costa Rica. 2️⃣ Nidos en riesgo: El calor extremo altera el s**o de las tortugas o "cocina" los huevos. 🥚
3️⃣ Residuos: Las cenizas impiden que las madres desoven.

Qué sí podemos hacer por las tortugas?

✅ Evita fogatas en playas de anidación. ¡Cuidemos lo que ya existe! 🌱
✅ Si ves una tortuga, apaga todas las luces y mantén tu distancia.

Les presentamos a Brooke, nuestra guerrera ambiental 🇨🇦 canadiense, que dejó a su grupo de viaje por un día para crear vida 🌱 con sus propias manos en Casa Pampa.

Su jornada fue en nuestra huerta comunitaria, y sí, con calor 🫠 y un poco de tierra. Pero al final del día, la sensación de plantar tomates, ajíes y otras especies respetando el ciclo de la agricultura regenerativa es un glow up difícil de compartir por Instagram.

¡También nos divertimos viendo las distintas especies nativas, como la jikara! 😜

Meet Brooke, our Canadian 🇨🇦 environmental warrior, who left her travel group for a day to create life 🌱 with her own hands at Casa Pampa.

Her day was spent in our community garden, and yes, it was hot 🫠 and involved a bit of soil. But at the end of the day, the feeling of planting tomatoes, peppers, and other species while respecting the regenerative agriculture cycle is a glow-up that's hard to share on Instagram.

We also had fun seeing the different native species, like the jikara! 😜
