La educación crea oportunidades. Y las oportunidades abren puertas.

💻 Learning skills that open doors.

Every Saturday, our teenagers are building valuable skills through ACCAI’s computer classes with our teacher, Ian.

They are learning Word, Excel, APA guidelines, AI tools, Canva, and teamwork — practical skills that can support them in school, at work, and in their future.

This initiative was made possible thanks to Jake Collins and family, whose initiative helped bring this opportunity to ACCAI, and to Denise Montealegre, Therese Michele Gear, and everyone who continues to support this program.

We are proud to see our teenagers learning, creating, and gaining confidence — one new skill at a time. ❤️

Education creates opportunities. Opportunities open doors.

🎭 Learning Beyond the Classroom!

This past Saturday, our high school students took part in a special improvisation workshop led by Rob Chambers, a retired theatre professional and educator.

This enriching experience was an extra activity alongside their regular Saturday tutoring, giving our students the opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun in a completely different way.

Through improvisation, students practiced:

Listening & focus
Communication
Collaboration & teamwork
Self-confidence
Problem-solving
Empathy

They laughed, had fun, worked together, and practiced their English in a relaxed, creative environment. Learning can be meaningful and fun! ✨

This was just the beginning—the first of several enrichment workshops planned through the end of the year. A big thank you to Rob Chambers for sharing his experience, energy, and passion with our students! 💙
