Astral Design started as a family project to show the world Costa Rica´s talent, through product design, expanding economy into space sector.

Our Mission

To promote more research and capacity building in earth sciences and space to train younger scientists prepared the challenges of the aerospace sector. To promote creativity in product design through NASA experiments. Designers and engineers of next generation aerospace products and systems must constantly innovate to create extremely complex parts and large assemblies that satisfy customer requirements, maximize performance, and meet strict industry safety standards.

Countdown has started for launch.

The launch control team recently arrived at their stations and the official countdown for the launch of the Artemis II mission began at 4:44 p.m. EDT (2044 UTC). Teams will begin methodically going through the launch countdown checklist to prepare for the liftoff of the crewed lunar mission — currently scheduled for no earlier than 6:24 p.m. EDT (2224 UTC) on Wednesday, April 1.
