Part One: Who We Are and Why This Mission Was Born.
🤓Here is what I tried to read.
🙏Thank you for reading, and thank you for taking the time to listen.
👋Hello, hello everyone.
Before I begin, I want to tell you something funny.
Usually, my official translator is my husband Stephen.
But today, he may not be here with me from the very beginning.
So we are going to find out together how this live goes.
Maybe he will connect at some point and rescue me if I need help.
But today, I wanted to do this with my own voice, my own heart, and my own story.
Because some things are not only meant to be written. They are meant to be felt.
I will be following a small script today.
I want to explain clearly, honestly, and from the heart what we are doing with Planting Tree Foundation, Nurse Fercy, Stephen, and our brand GoLoveGo.
Who I am and why I am learning English
We are located in Quepos, Costa Rica.
From here, we want to continue supporting our community, our neighbors, and also many people who come from other countries and sometimes feel lost.
My name is Fercy Alvarado.
I am a general nurse.
During this time, I have been working very hard to learn English.
I am not doing it because it is trendy.
I am doing it out of love for service, out of love for people, and because I understand that it cannot be easy to be in another country.
It cannot be easy to not fully understand the language and feel confused about health issues, paperwork, legal matters, or difficult emotional moments.
Sometimes a person does not need someone to solve their entire life.
Sometimes they only need someone to explain, to accompany them, to guide them, and to say:
It’s okay. You are not alone. We will take it step by step.
I also want to share something personal.
One of the reasons I have been trying so hard to learn English is because I have met many beautiful-hearted people.
People I want to talk to more, understand better, listen to more deeply, support better, and connect with in a more meaningful way.
For me, English is not just a language.
It is a door that allows me to serve better, listen better, and get closer to people I love and admire.
One of my sweetest dreams is the day I can sit down with a cup of coffee and have a peaceful conversation with my mother-in-law.
To be able to talk with her, listen to her, laugh with her, share stories, and understand each other without barriers.
That truly touches my heart.
I share these personal things because I do not want this to be a simple, cold, or empty brand.
Planting Tree Foundation, Nurse Fercy, Stephen, and GoLoveGo were born from pure and real human connection.
There is family here.
There are stories here.
There is learning here.
There is love here.
There are real people trying to do something beautiful for other people.
Nurse Fercy and Planting Tree Foundation
Through Nurse Fercy, my desire is to provide professional support as a nurse, but also human accompaniment.
Always with respect, ethics, guidance, and love for people.
We also have Planting Tree Foundation, a foundation born with a very meaningful motto.
We Don’t Plant Trees, We Cultivate People.
Because for us, caring for the environment is not only about planting trees.
It is also about educating, accompanying, listening, supporting, and helping people believe in themselves and in life again.
We travel through different areas of the Central and South Pacific of Costa Rica.
Our dream is to keep growing and one day expand this mission throughout the entire country.
We visit nearby and distant communities to bring education, support during moments of crisis, and talks rooted in love for the environment and humanity.
We also offer nursing accompaniment for neighbors who may not always be able to pay for this type of guidance.
What we want to teach is not only information.
We want to share what we have learned through our own life experience.
How to connect with ourselves, and how that connection can also bring us closer to nature, to love, and to God.
We believe that when a person learns to listen to themselves, they also begin to listen to life in a different way.
They begin to see nature differently.
They begin to understand their emotions differently.
They begin to feel that they are part of something bigger.
Emotional well-being and workshops
We also talk about emotional well-being from an educational and human perspective.
I am not a mental health specialist; I am a general nurse.
But I do teach, from my knowledge and experience, how the body works, how the brain works, and how hormones can influence our emotions, our attitude, and the way we respond to life.
We talk about habits, stress, breathing, calmness, understanding ourselves better, and learning simple tools.
Tools to reprogram the way we think and act with more love, more awareness, and more balance.
We also create music therapy and relaxation spaces...
