ure that Nosara grows and develops in a sustainable way bringing abundance and well being to all. Sustainable Nosara is a community group, a non-profit organization that is working toward a Sustainable, Green and Environmentally Conscious Community. Key elements of our vision include:
1) Protecting the natural beauty, of this area including Nosara, Samara, Garza, and Ostional by preserving and enhancing the beaches and green areas.
2) Integrating the local Tico and international communities through innovative non-profit and community projects and services.
3) High-lighting the components of healthy living already thriving here: Yoga, Surfing, Healing, Healthy Food, Creativity, Culture, and Community.
4) Drawing like-minded environmentally conscious visitors, residents, organizations, and companies to participate in, and enhance this dynamic evolving vision. MISSION
It is our goal to join forces and carry on what has begun by collaborating with existing efforts and initiatives, as well as spear heading new initiatives where needed. Through committees and events, we raise awareness, educate, solicit volunteers, collect funds, and actively engage in inspiring people to participate in the process of improving and innovating in all areas of the life of this community.
