Don’t Let Them Be Forgotten – Help Us Save These Children

At outskirts of Gbarnga in B**g County, 56 vulnerable children predominantly orphans, disabled children, and those abandoned by families who could no longer care for them are holding on to hope at a small, struggling orphanage.

For nearly 30 years, 82-year-old Madam Fetah Namen, the founder and general manager of the Rainbow orphanage, has poured her heart into caring for these children. With little to no outside support, she has provided them with shelter, meals, and a chance to go to school.

But now, age, illness, and overwhelming challenges are making it hard for her to continue.

“I can no longer walk well, but I still try every day for these children,” she says with tears in her eyes. “Please, I beg you, don’t let them return to the streets. Don’t let them starve. Help me help them.”

This is a desperate time:

There is no steady supply of food
Volunteer teachers are working without pay
Children are missing out on school
There is no access to medicine or healthcare
And more children keep arriving with nowhere else to go.

These children are not just statistics. They have names, hopes, and dreams, if someone like you steps in to care.

Madam Isa has done all she can. What she needs now is your support, no matter how small.

We urgently need:
Bags of rice and food items
School materials
Basic medical supplies
Modest support for volunteer teachers

Your help can do more than keep them alive, it can give them a future.

To donate or learn more, please contact: +231778024328/ WhatsApp 231888951602.

Please share this message.

Let’s not turn our backs on these children. Let’s help Madam Namen continue her mission of love.

🎁 We at Heartfelt Hands Liberia Initiative Reach Out to Expectant Mothers Ahead of July 26 🎉

As part of our grassroots Independence Day outreach, we at Heartfelt Hands Liberia Initiative on Sunday carried out a meaningful donation exercise to support pregnant women and nursing mothers at three key health facilities in B**g County.

We distributed over $300 USD worth of essential items, including tap soap, chloral, tissue, baby clothes, and biscuits (blue biscuits), at the Maternal Waiting Homes of Palala and Phebe Hospital, as well as the C.B. Dunbar Hospital.

This gesture was our way of giving back to the community and identifying with pregnant women ahead of Liberia’s 178th Independence Day Celebration.

We were deeply moved by the appreciation shown by both midwives and the benefiting mothers, who assured us the items would be used for their intended purpose.

👉 At Heartfelt Hands Liberia Initiative, we remain committed to serving humanity.

Yesterday, May 18,2025 marked a beautiful beginning for Heartfelt Hands Liberia Initiative 💙

With compassion in our hearts and a mission to serve, we carried out our first humanitarian outreach —reaching out to a 49-year-old ailing man in Suakoko, a struggling family in Gbarnga (Dementa Road), and the Rainbow Town Orphanage along the Gbarnga-Lofa Road.

We shared bags of rice and cooking oil, small gestures filled with love and hope. This is just the beginning. Together, we believe in restoring dignity, spreading kindness, and uplifting those in need.
