The program will form partnerships with local schools, businesses, and social agencies. Support Jaco Youth's goal is to foster a commitment to young people with community-based social activities that will pr
omote education, pro-social friendships, interpersonal skills, and reassert a sense of hope in the future. Only through personal relationships can a sense of individual responsibility be reestablished that will give youth the commitment to follow through on path to adulthood with a sense of pride and accomplishment in themselves and their community. Focusing on the challenges that youth face in today’s social climate of poor attendance in school and the opportunities to engage in at risk behaviors, young people have lost faith in the possibilities that await them if they are successful in putting their lives together. To accomplish this goal, young people must have access to caring, supportive environments that promote their best effort and reinforces personal and social respect. Support Jaco Youth is a program that is in direct response to the growing number of young people that are seeking positive community-minded activities where learning, encouragement through personal growth and community involvement reign. The goal of the program is to offer youths a positive supportive community of like-minded youth with activities that will foster mutual and self-respect, as well as respect for their community and the world at-large. The focus will be flexible as attendance and awareness increase so that the goals of Support Jaco Youth are in direct response to the needs of the youth that participate. Some of the proposed activities are as follows:

• Skater Revolutions
• Community Clean-ups
