We would like to thank everyone for a wonderful past month of classes, as we announce that KLC will be closed until further notice. We’re grateful to our volunteers for generously offering their time, as our program wouldn’t be possible without their help. We’d also like to thank the community for trusting KLC with its children and thus supporting our mission of providing English teaching and practice to the local students of Nuevo Arenal. We look forward to reopening our doors in the future and welcoming you and your children’s smiling faces back again!

This Monday, KLC worked alongside the Nuevo Arenal School to host the 3rd annual English Festival, and it was a major success! Students in grades K-6 participated in full English immersion through fun activities that tested their teamwork, creativity, and language skills! Thirteen students competed in the official Spelling Bee — a competition that tests students’ English spelling abilities, with increasing difficulty. We’re very grateful to Ronald, the teachers at the Nuevo Arenal School, and our volunteers for making this event possible!

¡Conozca a nuestro nuevo pasante! / Meet our new intern!
