Mi Cuerpo/Min Krop is a non profit Danish-Colombian organization. We provide s*xual and reproductive health workshops to teens in Cali and Popayán, Colombia.

We also create informational material so that students can continue learning about these topics.

Involving parents in S&RHR education is important, and the reaction from participants in our family events has been overwhelmingly positive lately.

A successful visit in Mexico has come to an end 🇲🇽

Salka visited the team in Querétaro during two weeks of May. The team had prepared a full program of teambuilding, adjustment of workshops, design of a new modality, visit at a partner school with observation of workshops and of course a lot of laughter.

It was a very positive visit and we look forward to the work in the coming months 🙌

We have received funding for a new project in Mexico 🎉

Over the next 7 months, the team will be working with students and teachers at rural schools in Mexico to promote safe school environments through the implementation of a program of workshops focused on s*xual health education, prevention of s*xual abuse and capacity building.

Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve been up to lately:

In hashtag , our team was in Veracruz for an intensive week, bringing our programs to a rural elementary school. They had the joy of working with both students, teachers, and families. This is the first visit which created an important basis to continue collaborating with the community.

In hashtag , in Cali and Popayán, our teams have been working on a new program for high commitment schools. The participarting schools have been assessed, and based on thindividual results, an individual plan has been developed for each school. This will be implemented the next months to strenghten the schools' capacity to implement s*x education programs.

We’re happy to see that in different regions and contexts, we’re all working toward the same goal: continuing to create spaces where comprehensive s*xuality education is a fundamental priority 🤩

Menstruation is s*xual health 🩸

In Colombia, the team has handed out kits with reusable menstrual pads as part of workshops at our partner schools in Cali and Popayán.

This is an important step to ensure that all girls can live a dignified menstruation with access to menstrual products.

What a start to 2026!

Q1 included workshops for students in both Colombia and Mexico, teacher trainings, talks with families to debunk myths on s*xuality and of course the fieldwork in Argentina.

We have been doing field work in Argentina the last couple of weeks.

It has been some beautiful and insightful weeks in Argentina, where Salka and Denise have visited and interview different organizations who work with women's rights, a nature reserve and preservation of traditional dinning. This with the purpose of making didactic materials for Spanish class in Denmark.

The visit exceeded all expectations, and we now have a lot of work ahead in the creation of the texts and videos. The materials will be ready for six schools to implement in August 2026.

Over the next three years, we will be strengthening s*xual and reproductive health education with our partner schools in Colombia and Mexico with this new project 🎉

We have received funding for this project that will allow us to build stronger relationships with local partner schools and this is a way to build long lasting impact in the communities - including both students, teachers and families.

In Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷
Salka and Denise have started the work on the creation of a book and videos for Spanish class in Denmark.

Over the next month, they'll be visiting Buenos Aires and San Martin de los Andes to feature different social and cultural topics in the material.
