Label Spotlight: Spirit Voyage Records
Spirit Voyage Records was founded over 25 years ago by GuruGanesha Singh, rooted in the belief that sacred music has the power to heal and transform us, one person at a time.

Over the years, they’ve nurtured international voices like Snatam Kaur, Ajeet, Mirabai Ceiba, and more—musicians whose work is deeply infused with spiritual integrity and devotion.

We want to acknowledge and give deep bows of gratitude to Spirit Voyage Records, who generously offered their services to Magic Fund to promote the Planting Magic Album and help it reach a wider audience. Their experience, established label, and incredible team made the entire release process easeful and a huge success. Gabylu, Karan, Ram Dass, and the whole Spirit Voyage Family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting this project!

Through Planting Magic, we are amplifying ancestral voices, supporting Indigenous land stewardship, and co-creating a connection through sound, reciprocity, and remembrance.

Planting Magic, released under Spirit Voyage Records, is more than an album; it’s a prayer, a pathway, and a legacy born of ancestral reverence and collective healing.

Our New Website is Live!

We’re excited to unveil the new Magic Fund website — a refreshed space that shares our story, our values, and our 2025 initiatives with greater clarity and purpose.

Unlike many NGOs working in the Amazon, our focus is unique: we are devoted to the preservation of the people, plants, and cultures of Yagé. This site reflects our commitment and offers an open invitation to learn, engage, and walk in sacred reciprocity.

Explore our 2025 Initiatives — including the Elders Fund, Emergency Fund, Economic Sovereignty Fund, Health Brigades, and Planting Magic — and see what we’ve been quietly building behind the scenes.

This marks a new phase for the Magic Fund. We invite you to visit, feel into the vision, and if you feel called to give back or contribute to what we’re building, please reach out. We’d love to hear from you.

🌸🌿✨ COMING THIS FRIDAY, MAY 23rd ✨🌿🌸

🎶“Cura Corazón” is the second single from our upcoming album, “Planting Magic”. It is an original composition by the album’s co-producer, . Peia wrote this song from the inspiration she received through her experiences with the Inga tribe and the healing medicine of the Yagé culture.

It was born within Peia’s heart to offer this song to Planting Magic, in reciprocity for everything she received from the culture. 100% of the proceeds from Cura Corazón and all the songs from our upcoming album go to fund and sustaih our land stewardship initiative in Putumayo, Colombia, where we’re cultivating endangered medicinal plants, restoring native forests, and preserving ancestral wisdom in collaboration with local Indigenous leaders.

Peia is joined by world-music artist and co-producer of the project, . The song is a healing chant for the heart of the individual, the collective and the heart of the earth. Peia and Ajeet weave their voices together in a playful yet powerful invocation supported by Nispar on Udu Drum and the hypnotic traditional flutes of .

🌱✨ ANNOUNCEMENT ✨🌱

We’re so excited to share updates on Planting Magic — our land stewardship and reforestation initiative in the heart of the Colombian Amazon.

Last year, we purchased 46 hectares of land in Putumayo, Colombia, where we’re cultivating endangered medicinal plants, restoring native forests, and preserving ancestral wisdom in collaboration with local Indigenous leaders.
Two years ago, our dear friends and world-music artists and heard about our vision and generously offered to donate their time and talents to create an awareness album. With the support of , who fully sponsored the project, the dream became reality. Peia and Ajeet traveled to the mountains of Colombia with recording equipment, and together we transformed a traditional maloka at our home at into a makeshift studio. With a roof of palm and open walls inviting in the sounds of wind, birds, and the jungle, this album honors the spirit of tradition while offering intimate, high-quality production.
We’re thrilled to announce that the first single drops this Friday, May 9th!

🎶 “Abuelas Curanderas” features co-producers and , along with and . It’s a celebration of the feminine guiding spirit and the deep wisdom of the grandmothers.

This Thanksgiving, we give gratitude to the Earth. We give gratitude to the people that protect the forests, the waters, the mountains, and the animals. We give thanks to these hands that carefully sustain life, day in and day out, century after century, for thousands of years.

Thank you to the native tribes which show us the way back to our nature. And thank you above all to our Earth Mother for the abundance with which she bestows us each and every moment.

Happy Thanksgiving to all that celebrate♥️

Chiricaspi💜🤍

Chiricaspi is a plant that grows all over Central and South America. It has been used in amazonian traditions for thousands of years as a spiritual medicine. Chiricaspi is principally used to remove fears in the Inga tradition. It can be used in plant steams, baths, and ceremonial lotions to provide strength and remove fear from the spirit.

Chiricaspi will be planted on the Planting Magic land to be able to study this powerful plant ally🌿

The meaning of the crown of feathers🦜

In many indigenous cultures, the chiefs, leaders and medicine men and women will wear a crown of feathers. In Putumayo, there are many indigenous tribes and 5 principal tribes that drink Yagé. Taita, meaning “father”, is a title passed down generation to generation and is of the highest responsibility and honor in the path of the Yagé. Taitas traditionally are given a crown of feathers to wear and carry the power of nature with them while they work. When in ceremony, each feather and detail on the crown come to life. The feathers on the crown are mainly from the macaw, or guacamayo. The guacamayo is one of the three guardians of the Yagé and is responsible for the protection of the celestial realms. Guacamayos are messengers and transporters of light and color. This crown is traditional of the Siona tribe.

The crown is a symbol of wisdom, of color, of life, and of love. 🦜🌞🌿

Thank you to all the Taitas, Maimas, wisdom keepers, elders, and guardians of the native traditions.

A couple videos from our latest project🎵🥁🪈🪕

We are so excited about our Musical Roots Recovery Project, an initiative to provide lessons and instruments to indigenous youth so that they may be carriers of the musical lineage and tradition, as well as open opportunities and skill sets to these children as individuals. The music is an integral part of the native Amazonian communities and is a powerful healer that carries the frequency of harmony, joy, and love.

Thank you for the donation to be able to execute this beautiful project♥️🌿. We are excited to continue sharing progress on this initiative.
