Young people may grow up in different countries, communities and circumstances but across borders, we share many of the same hopes; to live with dignity, access opportunities, feel safe and supported, and have a meaningful say in the decisions that shape our lives and futures.
From navigating inequality and climate change to pursuing education, decent work, health and well-being, young people are responding to shared challenges with creativity, courage and innovation.
Our contexts may be different.
Our realities may not be the same.
But our aspirations connect us.
This International Youth Day, we celebrate young people everywhere, and call for a world that listens to our voices, invests in our ideas and creates space for us to shape the future we envision.
