Through our 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐜𝐚𝐩𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞, participants gained practical skills in restoration planning, facilitation, stakeholder engagement, and ecosystem resilience, skills that are 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝.😃
Today, 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝 Mohammed Shali 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐮 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲 through the Northern Rangelands Trust 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭’𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐧🤩.
This initiative aims to restore 651 hectares of degraded mangrove ecosystems by 2028, strengthening biodiversity, supporting livelihoods, and building resilient coastal communities.
