International Ecopsychology Society

International Seminar of Ecopsychology: The Flight of the Phoenix will take place from May 7th to 11th, 2026 at Tenuta Calidarius in Bacoli, north of Naples. Since the facility is located within a volcanic crater, immersion in this habitat will be total.

Firstly, we will explore Ecotuning. This practice of connecting with Nature allows us to transform crises into opportunities for growth. Secondly, we will practice Ecomindfulness at the WWF Oasis of degli Astroni: direct contact with wild Nature promotes centering. Thirdly, we will learn to ‘collaborate with the inevitable’, following the intuition of Roberto Assagioli. Therefore, we will rewrite our personal history by drawing inspiration from natural laws.

The course is a decade-long collaboration between the Italian and Greek Schools of Ecopsychology, involving psychologist Marcella Danon and psychotherapist Kleio Apostolaki. It is held in “easy English” to open to an international audience.
