🦖 IYRC ASEAN 2026_Jurassic Exploration 🧊

Dinosaurs often worked together to survive in their environment. Some species, such as the Velociraptor, are believed to have hunted and cooperated in groups, using teamwork to secure and manage food resources. In challenging situations, food must be transferred between different areas to ensure the survival of the group.

In this mission, each robot becomes a dinosaur working together with a partner robot. The field is divided into two zones, connected only by a small opening in the wall. Robots must cooperate to exchange food items (cubes) through the opening, transport them to the correct storage areas, and finally stop at the designated ending position.

Food Item Sizes:

🟦 Large Cube: 6 cm × 6 cm × 6 cm

Scientists have discovered valuable dinosaur specimens in a prehistoric excavation field! Your robot must autonomously follow the designated line path, identify the required specimens, and transport them safely to the opposite laboratory for further investigation.

The robot will start from either Lab A or Lab B, which will be announced before the mission begins. Along the way, the robot must:

✅ Start autonomously from Lab A or Lab B and follow the line path.
✅ Push the specified number of specimens off the platform.
✅ Stop in the opposite laboratory zone, with any part of the robot touching the boundary line of the ending zone.

This challenge tests the robot's autonomous navigation, line-tracing capability, precision, and overall control in a simulated dinosaur research mission.

Scientists have decided to work together with friendly dinosaurs to complete important tasks. One such dinosaur is the Diplodocus, known for its gentle nature, long neck, and long tail, which help it move and transport objects across wide areas. As a herbivore, Diplodocus is calm and non-aggressive, making it an ideal partner for working alongside humans.

In this mission, two participants must work together to complete a series of tasks.

🔹 Player A controls an autonomous line-tracing robot representing the Diplodocus. Starting from Point A, the robot must follow the designated line path and complete three dragging and pushing tasks before stopping at Point B. The positions of two mission props will be announced on-site, while one prop remains in a fixed location.

🔹 Player B controls a remote-controlled robot and starts from Point B. The robot is responsible for restoring the environment by relocating a misplaced platform. There are two platforms of different heights on the field: one tall platform in its correct position and one lower platform that is out of place. The robot must push the lower platform back to its designated location.

This challenge tests teamwork, autonomous navigation, remote-control operation, precision, and strategic coordination between the two robots to successfully complete the mission. 🦖🤝🤖

In prehistoric skies, the Rhamphorhynchus, a small and agile flying reptile, soared through forests and cliffs with remarkable precision, skillfully avoiding obstacles while hunting and navigating its environment.

In this mission, drones take on the role of Rhamphorhynchus, racing through a challenging aerial obstacle course. Pilots must carefully maneuver their drones through rings, S-shaped paths, and various flight obstacles while finding the fastest and most efficient route to the finish line.

Dinosaurs are believed to have protected their nests, eggs, and territory from intruders, much like modern birds and reptiles. Fossil evidence suggests that many dinosaur species guarded their resources carefully to ensure the survival of their group.

In this mission, your robot becomes a dinosaur defending its territory. Each team consists of 2 robots and begins the match with 20 foreign eggs (orange and white ping pong balls, one color assigned to each side) placed within their area.

Using the slope as the only transfer path between territories, robots must push all opponent eggs out of their own area and back into the opponent’s side.

🏆 Winning Conditions:
🔹 A team wins immediately by removing all 20 foreign eggs from its territory.
🔹 If time runs out, the team that successfully transfers more eggs into the opponent’s territory wins the match.
