🕯️ In Loving Tribute to Tai Po 🕯️
On Wednesday afternoon, the smoke reached us from across the border, and soon the news began spreading everywhere —
the devastating fires in the residential buildings in Tai Po, Hong Kong.
Our hearts are with every person whose life was lost, every survivor now displaced, and every family facing unimaginable grief and uncertainty.
💔 No one should ever experience such fear in their own home.
We also mourn for the pets and animals who lost their lives or are now missing, frightened, or without their families.
They were victims too — loved family members, loyal companions, lives that mattered.
Today, we honor the incredible bravery of the firefighters who ran toward danger while others ran from it.
One firefighter gave his life protecting others.
His courage will never be forgotten.
To the families who lost loved ones — both human and animal — we are holding you in our hearts.
To those who survived but lost their homes, their memories, and their sense of safety — you are not alone.
Across Hong Kong, across Shenzhen, and across the world, people are grieving with you.
🕯️ May every life lost be remembered with dignity.
🕊️ May healing, comfort, and compassion reach every survivor and every grieving family — human and animal alike.
