The One Foundation is a completely government-independent NGO based in Shenzhen, China. Our funds are publicly-raised and we are dedicated toward transparency as to where and how the fund is spent. Audits can be found on our website. Our organization has three main goals:
1 Natural Disaster Relief - China suffers from an abundance of natural disasters every year. On average, almost 200 million pe
ople are affected and nearly 60 million need help each year. The record of direct economic losses in 2005 was 2.042 billion dollars. The One Foundation works to provide timely and adequate relief to the affected areas to reduce the devastating impact of such natural disasters.
2 Improving Children's Health - The One Foundation focuses on improving the education, nutrition, and general health of Chinese children. We also specialize in helping those children afflicted with rare diseases and developmental disorders, such as autism.
3 Fostering Philanthropy in China - China needs a greater philanthropic spirit, both in terms of public social responsibility and corporate social responsibility. To accomplish this, the One Foundation provides opportunities for volunteers from all walks of life to help out with this cause of philanthropy, gives out numerous grants every year to grassroots charities in China, and has key partnerships with companies such as Vanke, Alibaba, and many others.
