“Is this AI-generated?”
Illustrators know this words all too well.
When a carefully crafted piece is published, suspicion now comes before appreciation. As commercial projects move forward, attention can sometimes shift toward process records rather than the creative idea itself. Meanwhile, as AI generates billions of images daily, human creators are expected to prove authorship of their own work.
This is not only a shift brought about by technological progress—it is also a real challenge confronting original creative spirit.
The CDCP (Creative Digital Copyright Platform – Beta) introduces its core certification system:
ByHand · Hand-Drawn Certification
What qualifies as “human creation” under ByHand?
• The work must be independently conceived and hand-drawn by the creator;
• Core visuals must not be directly generated by AI models based on prompts (i.e., not AI-directly generated);
• AI tools may be used for inspiration, reference, or workflow optimization, but the final image must reflect continuous and traceable human drawing behavior.
Three core capabilities power ByHand Certification:
✅ Seamless Rights Confirmation
✅ Official ByHand mark
✅ Legal Continuity
