I used to think distance and time zones were the hard parts of a relationship.

Now I realize they also gave me something important:

Space.

I need time to learn, explore, think, and grow in my own rhythm. And I believe two people in a healthy relationship both need that space — instead of being so constantly close that they eventually run out of things to say.

For me, long-distance love actually helped me.

It taught me that love cannot only depend on physical closeness or daily attention. It has to be built through communication, trust, consistency, boundaries, and the choice to keep showing up.

We both have our own lives.
We both keep growing.
And we still choose to move toward each other.

Distance did not destroy us.
It gave us room to grow — and still choose each other.

So sometimes I laugh and think:

Maybe long-distance love actually helped us succeed. ❤️

We set a shared goal: saving each month.

Unexpected events happened, and we both faced pressure.

We reacted differently:

I focused on finding solutions to still reach the goal.
Petar needed reassurance and support, feeling the weight of responsibility.

What we learned as an ENTP × INFJ couple:

Disagreements are normal.
Different personalities handle stress differently.
Acknowledging feelings while aligning on actions is key.
Keep commitments, even when life throws curveballs.

Distance tests love.
Challenges test match.
Growth comes from handling it together.
