August 31 is Malaysia’s National Day.
On this special day, Jiangsu is sending warm wishes to all our friends in Malaysia. 💛
Over the past month, we’ve loved sharing different sides of Jiangsu with Malaysian travelers — places to explore, cultural experiences to discover and little moments that might inspire a future trip.

Whether you’ve already visited Jiangsu or it’s still somewhere on your travel list, we hope there will be many more chances to meet, explore and create new memories here.
✨ Happy National Day, Malaysia!

Interested in exploring Jiangsu’s cultural heritage? Here are five places worth adding to your trip.🌿

Niushou Mountain, Lingshan Grand Buddha, Daming Temple, Jinshan Temple and Tianning Temple each offer a different mix of historic architecture, cultural stories and scenic surroundings.

Add these five stops to your Jiangsu itinerary and discover a quieter, more contemplative side of the journey.

From Malaysia to Jiangsu, some things may feel surprisingly familiar. ✨
If batik is part of the visual language you know, take a look at the Nantong blue calico. One uses wax-resist dyeing and rich colors, while the other is known for stencil-resist techniques and classic blue-and-white patterns.
Different styles, but a shared love for turning fabric into something full of local character. 💙

Look closer at 江蘇 (Jiangsu written in traditional Chinese characters) and the name begins to reveal a visual story.

The water radical in 江 naturally echoes Jiangsu’s rivers and canals. In 蘇, the traditional form contains visual elements associated with plants, fish and grain — a fitting connection to a land long known for fertile fields and abundant produce.

Two characters, another way to picture Jiangsu.

Bamboo forests, a red train ride, streams and coffee breaks. 🌿☕💦
This is one of the ways to enjoy the last days of summer in Jiangsu.

At the Nanshan Bamboo Sea in Liyang, Changzhou, Jiangsu, ride through endless bamboo, follow the stream into the green and cool down with a coffee break after exploring.
💡 Good to know
Wear non-slip water shoes — mossy rocks can be slippery, so avoid going barefoot.
If you’re visiting Jiangsu in summer, add Nanshan Bamboo Sea to your list. ✨

In Nanjing, Jiangsu, late August can still feel warm, but the changing season begins to show in gentler breezes and leafy shade.
It’s a lovely time to slow down and enjoy the city as summer quietly gives way to autumn.
