澳門視障人士權益促進會的宗旨是使本澳之視障人士能融入社會；加強社會對視障人士及其家人在生活上遇到的困難之理解和內心感受的認知，促進社會給予視障人士及其家人最基本的支援；並促使視障人士及其家人加強聯繫和互助互愛，並推動視障人士有平等的機會參與本地及海外體育、康樂及文化藝術等社區活動。
