Together, our delegates influenced decision-making platforms to shape policies, strengthen movements, and advance rights, dignity, and inclusion in their local communities and beyond.

Care for communities is at the core of our mission. Rooted in nearly 50 years of movement-building experience, the Astraea Foundation knows that core support is one of the most powerful ways to sustain movements in times of urgent need.

Not all support is equal. Care builds capacity that outlasts crises. Burnout doesn't wait for the crisis to pass. Flexible, core funding helps activists care for their communities, their organizations, and themselves so they can respond in the moment, sustain their work, and focus on what their communities need to survive.

We can't put into words how proud we are of all delegates who had the courage and enthusiasm to advocate for their trans and gender diverse communities' rights at UN Trans Advocacy Week during the 62nd session of the Human Rights Council.

Some will be leaders of the future, and we couldn't be more honored to have them as GATE Members!
