CCICED’s Special Policy Study ( ) team on “Green Cooperation” held a research trip to Kuala Lumpur, from August 26 to 30. During the trip, they engaged in over 10 exchange activities with local think tanks, businesses, industrial parks, and Malaysian government departments.

The interactions contributed valuable insights for the upcoming SPS report’s findings and policy recommendations, as well as insights into the current status, challenges, and cooperation opportunities regarding Malaysia’s energy transition.

CCICED’s Special Policy Study ( ) team on “Governance for a Harmonious Co-existence between Humans and ” held a research trip to Belgium and Serbia in July.

The team engaged with international experts on , climate, nature-based solutions, and conservation. Workshops with the EU, United Nations Development Programme - UNDP, IUCN, and other partners fostered knowledge exchange and helped refine key recommendations for this year’s SPS Nature report.

Field visits to the Veliki Rzav Special Nature Reserve and Tervuren Park provided firsthand insights into innovative conservation practices and partnerships.

’s High-level Task Force (HLTF) held both a virtual session and an in-person meeting in Oxford, attended by invited experts and the leads of the project’s four working groups.
