On October 29, 2024, Tmall Health, BSA, and Sonova China jointly released a research report on hearing loss and hearing aid owner behavior among the elderly in China. The report shows that there are 120 million elderly people with hearing loss in China, and those with hearing loss are more likely to develop Alzheimer's disease. However, the awareness and intervention of hearing loss among the elderly in China are insufficient, and the hearing aid adoption rate is less than 5%. The report also points out that online fitting of hearing aids has become a new trend, and more and more people choose to buy hearing aids online.
