* To take in orphaned infants and children with special physical and medical needs and provide them with a caring and secure environment in as close to a normal home environment as possible,
* to work closely with the local Child Welfare Institutes to seek out the very best medical solution for each child’s physical challenge and facilitate their treatment in order to give these chil

dren the very best opportunities for the future,
* to employ and train local staff, as well as work closely with the local community to help support the staff’s needs, to provide appropriate opportunities for volunteers to be involved,
* and to keep accurate records of the children’s development so that each has a written history.

Joyful greetings to you today! The staff of New Hope in China and those who reside in different places throughout the world are happily going about this blessed vocation of caring for the precious children still entrusted to us. Each of us knows that we can be confident in this calling because our God can be trusted. What a daily comfort it is to know that His ways are perfect and He always knows best.

It seems the winds are always shifting, and 2026 may prove to be yet another year of significant changes for New Hope. We’ll be sharing some about the possibilities later in a special section of the newsletter. You’ll also find the stats from the Healing Home, our gratitude for your faithfulness, and how you can help us in this ongoing work.

Have you heard? Well, now you can!

Our founder, Dr. Joyce Hill, has donated the new audiobook version of her memoirs, The Obedient Daughter, to New Hope Foundation. The proceeds from each purchase will go for the continued care of the precious children she served so faithfully for two decades.

The audiobook is read by our good friend Kendra Hicks, with the forward read by another friend, her husband, Matthew. Both generously donated their time and talents to this project, and we are all so very grateful. They did a phenomenal job in sharing the ups and downs of Joyce’s story, and you’ll find that chapter after chapter honors so well a life that has been so well lived.
