urce d'inspiration pour le programme VNU et pour les volontaires du monde entier. Le programme des Volontaires des Nations Unies a été mis en place au Cameroun en 1981. Depuis lors, un grand nombre de Volontaires des Nations Unies internationaux et nationaux se sont engagés au Cameroun et de nombreux camerounais sont allés s’investir en faveur de la paix et le développement dans d’autres pays. Chaque année, il y a en moyenne 40 Volontaires des Nations Unies servant au Cameroun, dont environ 2/3 de camerounais et 50% de femmes. Le Programme des Volontaires des Nations Unies fait également la promotion du volontariat y compris national au Cameroun, à travers notamment la participation à la plateforme nationale des structures de volontariat (PlaVolcam), l’élaboration de la Stratégie Nationale du Volontariat (en collaboration avec le PNUD et le MINJEC), la célébration annuelle de la Journée Internationale du Volontariat (5 décembre)...

If your profile corresponds to an international vacant position and you are selected amongst the thousands of candidates worldwide, you will be directly contacted by the headquarters for the subsequent selection procedure (the national UNV Programme does NOT interfere at any point in the recruitment process).
