📸 From online learning to real-world action!
The H.I.P.E.R.S. 2026 Digital Advocacy & Storytelling Bootcamp brought together passionate young advocates in Yaoundé for an exciting two-day learning experience filled with creativity, collaboration, and practical skills development.
Participants built on the knowledge gained during the online training by exploring photography, videography, and visual storytelling as powerful tools for gender-based violence and r**e advocacy. Through hands-on activities and teamwork, they learned how to create ethical, survivor-centred content that educates, challenges harmful norms, and inspires action.
A special thank you to our amazing facilitators Tangu Monkem, Buinwi Kenneth Webnda, Abdel Oumar EL-bashi and Dinayen Emilien for sharing their knowledge and inspiring the next generation of digital advocates.
We are equally grateful to Rescue Women Cameroon for supporting the implementation of H.I.P.E.R.S. 2026 under the Survivor Voices Against R**e (SUVAR 2026) framework.
The journey doesn't end here. Our participants are leaving with new skills, stronger voices, and a shared commitment to creating safer communities through digital advocacy.
💜 Together, we can use technology and storytelling to prevent gender-based violence and support survivors.
