🌟 DAY 14 | MICROSOFT EXCEL: LEARNING BY DOING! 📊💻

Our young tech learners at GreatRift Foundation continued their free Cybersecurity & Technology Training with a practical Microsoft Excel session.

Today, they learned how to use Excel formulas for ADDITION ➕ and MULTIPLICATION ✖️, strengthening their digital literacy, problem-solving, and practical computer skills.

From cybersecurity and online safety to web design and now spreadsheet applications, our learners are building valuable skills for school, everyday life, and the future. 🚀

✍️🚀 A LETTER FROM THE FUTURE | YOUNG WRITERS CHALLENGE

Yesterday, after completing their IT training session, our young learners at GreatRift Foundation stepped from the world of technology into writing, imagination, and storytelling.

The exercise challenged them to write “A Letter From the Future”—imagining who they will become, what they will achieve, and the impact they hope to make.

Through this activity, they are developing creative writing, communication, critical thinking, self-expression, and confidence.

📚 The exciting part? The best stories from the Young Writers Challenge will be selected and published in a book, giving these young authors the opportunity to see their creativity reach a wider audience.

Because education is not only about learning technology—it is also about finding your voice and having the courage to dream. 🌍💚

Après leur formation en informatique, nos jeunes apprenants ont consacré un moment à l’écriture, à l’imagination et à la créativité autour du thème « Une lettre du futur ».

Après leur formation, nos jeunes apprenants se sont tournés vers les échecs, non seulement pour jouer, mais aussi pour développer leurs capacités cognitives. 🧠♟️

Les échecs renforcent la concentration, la mémoire, la pensée critique, la résolution de problèmes, la planification stratégique, la prise de décision et la patience. Chaque coup apprend aux enfants à anticiper, analyser les conséquences et prendre des décisions réfléchies.

DAY 9 | DESIGNING WITH FONTS ✨💻

Day 9 continued our journey into graphic design with Microsoft Publisher—but this time, the focus was on putting fonts into practice.

Our young designers learned how to:
🔤 Choose fonts that match a message
📐 Combine different fonts effectively
🎯 Use font size and style to create visual hierarchy
✨ Apply fonts creatively without making designs confusing

The lesson is simple: great design is not just about what you say, but how people see it.

From learning about fonts to applying them in real designs, our young innovators are building skills that can turn ideas into impact. 🚀
