SPEAK OUT AGAINST SEXUAL VIOLENCE

PART 4

At Bridgers Association Cameroon, we believe every girl deserves safety. Every child deserves protection.

Change starts with conversations, openness, honest, and without shame.
Boys and girls must learn about consent, boundaries, and respect. They shouldn’t be shy to ask questions or understand their rights.

Without this knowledge, girls risk harm, boys risk becoming perpetrators, and society loses both.

If you witness abuse or know a child in danger, report it immediately to : The Ministry of Women’s Empowerment & The Family Reach out to local police or social services Use trusted NGOs working on child protection Trusted bloggers and etc.

Support campaigns and community programs that educate children and adults about sexual violence, respect, and safety. Awareness and prevention save lives.

Speak out. Act. Protect children, Protect the girl child.

Let’s not wait until it is too close to our home. Every action counts.

YOU MUST ALL SAY NO TO SEXUAL VIOLENCE!

PART 3

A community that only corrects girls has already failed.

Telling girls “be careful” is not prevention.

We also need to talk about what we are normalizing.
Children are being exposed to sexualized dancing with adults.
Videos are shared, laughed at, ignored.
That is not harmless. That is not “just for fun.”

It is the responsibility of adults to protect children and not expose them.

But let’s be clear: nothing a child does, wears, or is exposed to ever justifies abuse. Never.

S*x and r**e education must reach both boys and girls. They should not be shy to learn, ask questions, or understand boundaries.
Without this knowledge, girls risk harm, boys risk becoming perpetrators, and society loses both.

parents, guardians, leaders and ever adult, your role is clear: teach, guide, and protect.
Speak out. Report abuse. Refuse to stay silent.

A culture that ignores or excuses violence is a culture that fails everyone.
