SUHUCAM was proudly represented by our Field Officer, Mangwa Felix, at a capacity-building workshop organized by the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife (MINFOF) in collaboration with ANAFOR on March 18, 2026 in Bamenda.
The workshop, organized in the build up to the International Day of the forest 2026, focused on the accreditation of sylvicultural activities, an important step toward professionalizing forestry practices in Cameroon.

Beyond the workshop, we join regional stakeholders in events marking the commemoration of the International Day of Forests 2026 where we planted trees at the upstation hill to prevent erosion and promote environmental restoration.

These engagements reaffirm SUHUCAM’s commitment to climate action, sustainable land restoration, and community empowerment.

With our Zovu action grant, we are training and collaborating with the Ma'ate mbororo women common initiative group to tell their lived experiences in the face of climate change.

Through this micro grant, we are not only empowering emerging leaders, we are applying voices of women on the frontline of climate change and advocating for more inclusion of mbororo women in decision-making processes.

Through the establishment of a ma'ate mbororo women home garden, the women are strengthening their skills in organic home gardening. We believe that there is no climate justice without women empowerment. There is no climate justice without .

Over the last week, we joint the global trade community at the 14th of the in Yaoundé.

Our team joined conversations on the intersection of climate change, nature protection, technology and trade.

While trade policies and discussions largely mention the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) with focus on reducing global emissions, we advocated for;

✅Inclusion of climate change adaptation in these vital conversations and policies.

✅Trade policies to be designed to improve the livelihoods of people most impacted by climate change, including farmers and fisherfolks.

Our team also engaged with diverse stakeholders amplifying community voices at the Trade+ Sustainability Hub organized by .

From the momentum gathered during the workshops we believe that sustainable development can only be achieved with fair trade rules that intentionally include perspectives and needs of Global South countries.

We were represented at the workshop by: Queeniver Ngwangung Sandra Tuombouh Habiba Gambo and Sunday Geofrey

In March, 2026, we continued with the distribution of farm inputs to smallholder women farmers in the NorthWestRegionofCameroon. Climate resistant Irish potatoes 🥔 and maize seeds were distributed to 100 women across the communities of Awing, Balikumbat, and Bamunkumbit.

Women from pastoralist communities continue to face climate challenges that affects food security and local livelihoods. Through this project, we intend to strengthen their resilience to climate change, empower and ensure their effective participation in decision-making processes.

Celebrated every year on March 22, World Water Day highlights the importance of freshwater and raises awareness about the millions of people who still lack access to safe and clean water.

Water is essential for life it sustains our health, supports agriculture, drives economic activities, and preserves our environment. Yet, for many communities, especially in rural and underserved areas, accessing this basic necessity remains a challenge.

At Support Humanity Cameroon, we are committed to changing this reality. Beyond advocacy, we are actively involved in improving access to safe water through our ongoing water project, bringing hope and practical solutions to communities in need.

This World Water Day, we call on everyone to value water, protect it, and support efforts aimed at making it accessible to all. Because every drop truly matters.
