An ivory trafficker arrested with 8 elephant tusks and 52kg giant pangolin scales in Yaounde. The trafficker based his ring in Mintom in the south part of the country and the tusks were trafficked from Congo.
Great work of the LAGA team with the authorities.

17/12/2025

3 traffickers arrested with 65 African Grey Parrots using the government car of a Divisional Officer to lend them impunity.
One of them is the brother of this local authority, the other a Ghanaian with ties to other known transnational criminal networks.
This is a mere snapshot of this specialized ring trafficking regularly for a very long time.
