What a set of matches. The semi finals of the 5th Edition of the Na We We Sports Jamboree are done and Constain Field delivered something truly special. 🔥⚽🤾

The spirit, the energy, the commitment of every team that stepped onto that field across both semi final days was an absolute eye saw. These young people came from different communities, different backgrounds, and different lived experiences, and they played with everything they had.

That is Na We We. That is vivre ensemble in action.

The teams have been decided. The Grand Finals are set. And 29th August at GS Upper Costain Field in Tiko is going to be unforgettable.

Stay tuned. The best is still to come. Na We We. We Are One. 🇨🇲

Na We We has always believed that building stronger communities means protecting the environment those communities call home. 🌿

As part of the 5th Edition of the Na We We Sports Jamboree, Local Youth Corner Cameroon is proud to present the Tiko Mangrove Summit 2026, taking place on 21st and 22nd August 2026 at CMPJ Hall, Upper Constain Field, Tiko.

Under the theme: Strengthening Partnerships for the Sustainable Protection and Restoration of the Tiko Mangrove Ecosystem, this summit brings together organisations, community leaders, and partners committed to the long-term health of one of Tiko's most vital natural resources.

The summit is backed by the Ministry of Environment, Protection of Nature and Sustainable Development, and organised in collaboration with ACQUASIE World (Association pour une Culture de Qualité, Sécurité), the Center for Scientific Research, Human Rights and Development (CENSREHURD), Rural Women's Action for Sustainability and Justice (RWASJ), Back 2 Eden Association, BUILD Ensemble, and many more partners.

Because peace and development are impossible without a healthy planet to build them on.

Sports brought them to the field. Now we send them forward with the essentials they need. 🎒📚

On 29th August, as part of the closing ceremony of the 5th Edition of the Na We We Sports Jamboree, Local Youth Corner Cameroon will distribute back-to-school kits and food to participants, youth, and community members in Tiko.

Back-to-school kits include school bags, notebooks, pens and pencils, mathematical sets, and more. Food packages include rice, cooking oil, pasta, and more.

Because empowering young people does not end when the final whistle blows. Together, we support education, wellbeing, and a brighter future for all.

Sometimes the hardest conversations to have are the ones within your own community.

In Anyajua, leadership tensions within the Anyajua Development and Cultural Association had stalled development projects and weakened community confidence. With seed grant support from LOYOC, ANYEA and Sisters Keepers brought together 15 key stakeholders, including former and current executive members, traditional and religious leaders, youth representatives, and CSO actors, for an honest conversation.

Through open dialogue, participants voiced grievances, identified the root causes of their divisions, and jointly proposed practical solutions. Communication was restored, including with previously estranged members, and a foundation for stronger collaboration was laid.

Because when community structures are divided, it is not just the association that suffers. It is everyone.

The biggest match of the 5th Edition of the Na We We Sports Jamboree is almost here. 🏆⚽

On 29th August 2026 at GS Upper Costain Field in Tiko hosts the Grand Final of Male Football. Weeks of dedication, passion, and the spirit of vivre ensemble have led to this moment. Two teams. One field. The grandest stage of the 5th Edition of the Na We We Sports Jamboree.

And immediately after, the Official Medal and Prize Distribution Ceremony will honour the champions and outstanding teams across all disciplines. Because every young person who stepped onto that field this Jamboree deserves to be celebrated.

Passion. Unity. Respect.

A football match and a dialogue session. Two simple activities. One powerful outcome.

In Babessi village, the Babessi and Mabim communities have lived side by side for years, separated by longstanding tensions and inherited mistrust. Under LOYOC's AMPLIFY Project, the Bridging the Divide initiative created two spaces for change.

50 young people from both communities came together for an inter-community football match, proving that when you play on the same team, division fades. 20 community policymakers and stakeholders sat together in a structured dialogue to address root causes and chart a path forward.

The result: open communication, reduced tension, and the beginning of something that has been missing for too long. Trust.

Some moments define a Jamboree. This is one of them. 🤝🍽️

On 29th August at the closing ceremony of the 5th Edition of the Na We We Sports Jamboree, stakeholders and community representatives will take to the pitch one final time for the Solidarity Match, a symbolic gesture of unity, peace, and togetherness that has become one of the most cherished traditions of Na We We.

And when the final whistle blows, everyone sits down together for the Solidarity Meal. Because at Na We We, we break bread the same way we play sport: together, without borders, without barriers.

Tomorrow brings six more teams to Constain Field for semi final day 2. 🔥⚽🤾

In handball, Love faces Tolerance at 11:30 AM. In female football, Solidarity takes on No GBV at 11:30 AM. And in male football, Justice meets No GBV at 12:30 PM.

Six teams. Three matches. One field. Come out tomorrow and be part of it. Arrive at least 45 minutes before kickoff.

In Wum, Fulani/Mbororo and Aghem youth sat together, listened to each other, and chose peace.

Through an Improbable Dialogue organised under LOYOC's AMPLIFY Project, young people from both communities came together in a safe and structured space to rebuild trust, restore communication, and address the tensions affecting their daily lives.

They left not just as participants, but as Peace Ambassadors, carrying a commitment to dialogue, tolerance, and non-violence back into their communities.

When young people are given the space to speak and listen, they become powerful agents of change.

Free eye screening is coming to Tiko on 29th August and the entire South West Region is invited. As part of the closing ceremony of the 5th Edition of the Na We We Sports Jamboree, Local Youth Corner Cameroon is proud to announce a free Community Eye Screening at GS Upper Costain Field in Tiko, organised by the Africa Ophthalmology Network Foundation (AFRONGF), promoting sight in Africa.

The entire South West Region is invited to benefit from this service. You do not have to be a Jamboree participant to access this screening. If you live in the South West, this is for you.

Because at Na We We, we believe that true community empowerment goes beyond sport. It includes health, wellbeing, and access to services that every person deserves.
