The Corps Marshal, Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Shehu Mohammed, mni, today attended the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) Road Summit 2026, themed “Sustainable Road Infrastructure for National Growth.” The summit convened critical stakeholders to drive conversations on resilient road networks that support economic expansion, improve mobility and save lives.

At the summit, the Corps Marshal emphasised the strong nexus between sustainable road infrastructure and road safety, noting that quality construction, proactive maintenance and safety-focused design are essential to national development. His participation is another proof of FRSC’s firm commitment to safer roads as a catalyst for growth, productivity and national prosperity.

🇧🇫 Le Conseil de discipline de la Société de Transport en Commun (SOTRACO) a siégé le jeudi 16 octobre 2025 à Ouagadougou pour des cas de manquement et de fautes graves, commis par des agents dans l'exercice de leur fonction.

A l'issue de la session, le Conseil a prononcé les sanctions suivantes :

-Licenciement : 01 agent du service matériel roulant et qualité
-Mise à pied de 04 jours : 01 machiniste
-Mise à pied de 03 jours : 01 aide mécanicien
-Mise à pied de 02 jours : 01 machiniste
-Avertissement : 03 machinistes

La Direction générale de la SOTRACO invite tous les agents à se départir des mauvais comportements et manquements graves qui ternissent l'image de la Société et sapent les efforts des agents travailleurs.

Beaucoup pensent encore que la voiture est le moyen le plus rapide pour se déplacer en ville… Et pourtant 👀

Selon l’ADEME, sur un trajet urbain de 5 km, le vélo arrive en tête !
Un cycliste roule en moyenne à 15 km/h, contre 14 km/h pour la voiture.

Moins d’embouteillages, plus de liberté, et souvent… plus rapide. C’est bien ça qu’on appelle un combo gagnant ? 😉
