CAMPEACI and GSS Muebah-Nninong Commemorate International Day Of The African Child (DAC) At The Summa Cum Laude Information And Learning Centre Ekol-Muebah-Nninong On 16th June 2024.

The celebration of this year’s edition of the Day of the African Child in Nninong-Muebah, KupeMuanenguba June 16, 2024 was marked among other activities by the recognition of the outstanding achievements of some students, pupils and teachers of some schools in the region.
The ceremony jointly organized by the Cameroon Centre for Peace Research and Initiative, CAMPEACI and GSS Nninong was attended by the different schools and their authorities, representatives of the Divisional Delegation of Basic Education and Communication in Kupe Muanenguba, traditional authoritiesauthorities, parents, pupils and students.

This year’s ceremony took place under the theme “Education for all children in Africa; The time is now.”

Here is a local initiative and Partner that seeks to reduce farmer's post harvest losses in the kupe Muanenguba division (the highest producer of plantain in Cameroon) by transforming plantains to floor and then natural biscuits.

Established by the United Nations, every year on December 5th, the world comes together to celebrate International Volunteers Day for economic and social development. It’s a day to recognize the selfless efforts of volunteers, and their role in shaping a more inclusive, equitable, and prosperous world.

In line with this year’s International Volunteering Day celebration under the theme “if everyone did volunteering the world would be a better place”, CAMPEACI engaged in a host of activities amongst which was a cleanup campaign : ‘chantier de volontariat’ in collaboration with the National Volunteers Program (NVP) under the patronage of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education (MINJEC), on November 29th,2023.


In consolidation of activities to commemorate the 38th edition of the International Volunteers Day, CAMPEACI equally took part in the trade fair at the Yaoundé Hotel de Ville-Cercle Municipal on Tuesday December 5th 2023. This was an occasion for CAMPEACI to present her mission and activities to other participating organizations and guests to her stand at the fair, while also networking with the several associations and organizations present.

Together with other Civil Society Organisations, Community Based Organisations, Community Leaders and Peace Experts from across the national territory, the Cameroon Centre for Peace Research and Initiative - Campeaci through her Programs and Logistics Officer - Cyrile Esapa Abwe , took part in the 3-days Capacity-building of civil society actors, women and youth groups on conflict prevention, violent extremism, crisis management and peacebuilding” by the West African Network for Peacebuilding W-A-N-E-P at Mansel Hotel, Yaoundé.
