Community-Based Education in action!

Yesterday, the Children's Fate team was at the Boumyebel Community, hosted by the Apostolic Church Boumyebel under Pastor Jean Fomat's leadership. We had an amazing session training teen moms, displaced parents, and children on detergent production - a valuable skill for income generation.

The highlight of the day was Founding President Tomia Chu’s powerful talk on "Mon Enfant, Mon Combat" (My child, My Fight), emphasizing the importance of supporting and empowering our children and youth.

Huge thanks to Pastor Jean Fomat and the Apostolic Church Boumyebel for their hospitality and support.

Yesterday was a special day at Zion Rehabilitation Center! We're still beaming with joy thinking about the wonderful visit from Colonel Emily Nanyongo. This incredible woman took time out of their busy schedule to spend time with our children, and it truly made their day.

Colonel Emily brought a thoughtful donation of books to share with our kids, opening doors to new worlds and sparking imagination and curiosity. But more than that, she shared words of encouragement and hope, reminding our children that they are seen, valued, and loved.

We are so grateful for Colonel Emily's kindness, generosity, and compassion. Her visit is a reminder that every moment we invest in the lives of our children is an investment in their future. Thank you, mummy, for being a shining example of hope and inspiration!
