THE WEB OF PEACE

During our Nonviolence Education and Training Program in Bamenda, participants took part in the Web of Peace,an interactive activity designed to encourage connection, cooperation, communication, and shared responsibility.
Peace is not created by one person alone.

Just as every strand contributes to the web, every individual has a role to play in building peaceful communities.

Through interactive learning, participants explored the importance of listening, working together, respecting one another, and choosing nonviolent ways of resolving differences.

Peace is something we learn, practice, and build together.

When we equip children and young people with the knowledge and skills to communicate, cooperate, and resolve conflicts peacefully, we are investing in stronger communities and a more peaceful future.

Our actions determine their fate.

HAPPY NEW WEEK, CHILDREN'S FATE FAMILY!
A new week brings new opportunities to encourage, inspire, and build lives.

“Every child is a seed of potential. What we pour into them today helps determine what they become tomorrow.”

LET'S TALK ABOUT OUR CHILDREN (serie 8)

BUILDING A CHILD'S CONFIDENCE
Confidence is not something every child is simply born with.
It is often built through the words they hear, the encouragement they receive, the environment they grow in, and the way adults respond to their mistakes.

A child who constantly hears:
“You can't do it.”
“You're not good enough.”
“Look at what others can do.”

may eventually begin to believe those words.
But when we say:
“Try again.”
“I believe in you.”
“It's okay to make mistakes; let's learn from it.”
“You have something valuable to offer.”
we help children develop the courage to keep trying.

HOW CAN WE BUILD A CHILD'S CONFIDENCE?

Praise effort, not only results.
Listen to their ideas and opinions.
Correct them without destroying their self-worth.
Give them age-appropriate responsibilities.
Celebrate their progress, even when it is small.
And most importantly, never use a child's weakness as a reason to make them feel worthless.
Every child develops differently. Some will shine early, while others may need more time, patience, and encouragement.

Our responsibility is not to compare them.
Our responsibility is to help them discover who they can become.

“Children are a gift entrusted to us; let our words, actions, and example help them grow into the people they were created to become.”

This week, let's choose to speak life, hope, courage, and possibility into the children around us.

You may say one encouraging word today and never realize how far that word travels in a child's life.
What is one sentence every adult should say more often to a child?
Share yours in the comments.

Let's raise children who know their worth, believe in their abilities, and have the courage to pursue their potential.

HAPPY SUNDAY FANS, LET'S TALK ABOUT OUR CHILDREN (SERIES 7)

BE THE CHANGE IN ONE CHILD'S LIFE

This Sunday, let's pause and ask ourselves a simple question:

What difference am I making in the life of a child?
You don't have to be wealthy.
You don't need a big organization.
You don't need to change the whole world.

Sometimes, impact begins with one small action.

Encouraging a child who has lost confidence.
Listening to a child who needs to be heard.
Helping a child who needs support.
Protecting a child from harm.
Sharing knowledge with a child.
Showing a child kindness when they least expect it.
We often talk about the kind of world we want tomorrow.
But tomorrow's world is being shaped by how we treat children today.
The child we encourage today may become tomorrow's leader.
The child we protect today may grow up to protect others.
The child we believe in today may one day become the person who changes an entire community.
You may never know how far one act of kindness will travel.
So this Sunday, don't wait for someone else to make a difference.

Start where you are.
Use what you have.
Do what you can.

Be a safe person.
Be a good example.
Be an encourager.
Be a change-maker.

Because sometimes, changing the world doesn't begin with millions of people.
It begins with one child.
What is ONE thing you can do this week to positively impact a child's life?

GOOD MORNING FANS, LET'S TALK ABOUT OUR CHILDREN (SERIES 6?

PLAY IS NOT A WASTE OF TIME ; IT IS PART OF GROWING.

When children play, they are doing much more than having fun.

They are learning how to communicate, cooperate, solve problems, express themselves, make decisions, manage emotions, and build relationships.

A simple game can teach teamwork.
A creative activity can develop imagination.
Playing with others can teach sharing and cooperation.
Trying something new can build confidence.

And beyond play, children also need opportunities to discover practical skills and talents that can help them understand what they are capable of.

As adults, we sometimes focus so much on what children must become that we forget to give them space to discover who they are.

Every child has potential, but potential needs an environment where it can grow.

Let children ask questions.
Let them explore.
Let them create.
Let them play.
Let them make age-appropriate choices.
Let them discover their strengths.
And when they fail, don't make failure the end of the lesson.

Teach them to try again.
This weekend, spend a little time with a child around you. Put down the phone. Talk. Play. Listen. Teach them something. Or simply allow them to teach you something.
You may be surprised by what you discover.

What skill or lesson did you learn as a child through playing or simply spending time with other people?

Tell us in the comments.

Children don't only need a future to look forward to. They need a childhood that prepares them for it.

GOOD MORNING, CHILDREN'S FATE FAMILY!

A new day is another opportunity to care, encourage, educate, and make a difference.

“The future of every child is influenced by the people who choose to care today.”

Let's make today count. Let kindness lead our actions, and let our communities become places where every child can feel safe, valued, and supported.

LET'S TALK ABOUT OUR CHILDREN ( SERIES 5)

IT TAKES A COMMUNITY TO RAISE A CHILD.

Raising a child is not the responsibility of parents alone.
Parents provide guidance.
Teachers provide knowledge.
Caregivers provide support.
Communities provide belonging.
Organizations create opportunities.
And every responsible adult can play a part.

When these efforts come together, children have a stronger foundation to grow.

A child who has people around them who care is more likely to have someone to turn to when they face challenges, someone to encourage their dreams, and someone to help them recognize their potential.

Community responsibility means refusing to say, “That is not my child, so it is not my problem.”

Every child is part of the community we are building.

So today, ask yourself:

What role am I playing in shaping the children around me?

You don't need to have an organization or a lot of money to make an impact.

You can mentor.
You can listen.
You can teach.
You can encourage.
You can protect.
You can simply show up.

When a community invests in its children, it invests in its own future.

Hello fans let's continue with our serie (SERIES 4)

THE ENVIRONMENT AROUND A CHILD CAN SHAPE THE ADULT THEY BECOME.

Children are constantly learning from their surroundings.

They observe how adults communicate.
They notice how people treat one another.
They absorb the words spoken around them.
They learn from the way conflicts are handled.
They are influenced by the people they spend time with.

This is why creating a safe, loving, respectful, and encouraging environment is so important.

A child who grows up surrounded by encouragement can learn to believe in their abilities.

A child who is listened to can learn that their voice matters.

A child who is treated with respect can learn to respect others.

And a child who sees kindness practiced around them can learn to become kind.

We cannot control everything a child will encounter in life, but we can influence the environment we create around them.

So, parents, teachers, caregivers, community leaders, and every adult who interacts with children, let us ask ourselves:

What are our children learning from us without us saying a word?
Because tomorrow's adults are being shaped by today's environment.

Let's create spaces where children can feel safe, valued, heard, and empowered to become their best selves.

OUR ACTIONS DETERMINE THEIR FATE.

A child's well-being should never depend on whether their family can afford the care they need.

At Children's Fate, we believe that caring for children means caring for the whole child.
Our work goes beyond visiting sick children in hospitals. When possible, we also reach children in their homes, offer support, accompany families to healthcare facilities, and help with medical expenses when we can.

Because sometimes, what a child needs most is not just medicine, it is someone willing to show up.
Someone to say, “You are not alone.”

Our commitment to healthcare is rooted in a simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to grow up healthy, protected, and supported.

Inspired by Chani's own journey and her experience with medical malpractice, Children's Fate continues to champion a future where children can access the care they need and where their health and dignity are treated as priorities.

We know we cannot do everything alone.
But together, we can do something.

Join us on this journey.
Be a supporter.
Be an advocate.
Be a volunteer.
Be a change-maker.

Because the little we do for one child today can become a life-changing difference tomorrow.
Every child deserves a chance to be healthy, educated, protected, and empowered.

Good morning Facebook family, LET'S TALK ABOUT OUR CHILDREN ( SERIES 3)

CHILDREN NEED TO FEEL LOVED

We talk a lot about educating children, providing school materials, and creating opportunities for them.

But there is another need we must never overlook:

The need to feel loved.
A child who feels valued and cared for can develop a stronger sense of belonging and confidence.

Sometimes, love looks very simple:
A genuine smile.
A warm greeting.
Taking time to listen.
Encouraging them when they struggle.
Reminding them that they matter.

These moments may seem small to an adult, but they can mean a great deal to a child.
Children are not only learning from the books we give them. They are also learning from the way we treat them.

When we show children kindness, patience, respect, and encouragement, we help create an environment where they can feel safe to learn, grow, and discover their potential.

So today, ask yourself:

“What did I do recently to make a child feel valued?”

It doesn't always require money.
Sometimes, your time, your attention, and your kindness can be the gift a child remembers.

At Children's Fate, we believe in educating, protecting, empowering, and showing children that they matter.

EVERY CHILD MATTERS; OUR ACTIONS DETERMINE THEIR FATE.
