Her achievement is a reminder of the important role that women in STEM continue to play, breaking barriers, raising standards, and contributing meaningfully across such competitive sectors in Cameroon.

We’re truly inspired by Immaculate’s work even in a difficult crisis zone as the North/South West regions of Cameroon.

Last month in Yaoundé, the TechWomen Alumnae Association Cameroon came together for our Annual Planning Meeting bringing alumnae and volunteers into one room to shape our work in Cameroon.

From strengthening our governance to validating our 2026-2027 roadmap, the focus was on how we can deepen our impact in empowering women and girls in STEM across Cameroon?

This year, we’re excited to roll out:�✨ Leadership development initiatives�✨ STEM clubs in schools�✨ Advanced skills training for young women graduates�✨ The TechWomen Cameroon Annual Summit�✨ And stronger collaboration with the TechGirls programme

It was also an opportunity for us to reflect on our financial sustainability and identify practical ways to grow our partnerships, visibility, and community impact.

Now that the direction is set and the energy is real, let the work begin!

We’re so excited for what 2026 holds and we welcome support from our community and beyond!

Last weekend, we gathered for a welcome cocktail to celebrate the return of the 2025 TechWomen Emerging Leaders of Cameroon.

After an intensive leadership and mentorship journey in the USA, Ajui, Stephanie, and Elizabeth describe their TechWomen experience as truly life-changing. Beyond global exposure and strengthened leadership skills, they secured a $3,000 Innovation Grant through the program to support an innovative project back home in Cameroon.

The welcome cocktail also brought together key stakeholders from Cameroon’s tech and innovation ecosystem, with institutions such as , , TiC Foundation , and Open Dreams Educational NGO in attendance, and the U.S. Embassy Yaounde reinforcing the importance of collaboration between emerging leaders and national actors.

Now officially integrated into the TechWomen Association, they return with vision, momentum, and the means to build.

What they’re about to launch may reshape how innovation takes root in Cameroon. Stay tuned…

They’re back home 🇨🇲✨�We are proud to officially welcome the 2025 TechWomen Emerging Leaders of Cameroon as they return from the TechWomen program in the USA and are integrated into the TechWomen Alumni Association.

These leaders come from diverse backgrounds in STEM and have completed an intensive global leadership and mentorship experience at Silicon Valley designed to strengthen their impact at home.
As members of the TechWomen Association, they now join a powerful network committed to advancing women’s leadership, innovation, and inclusive growth in Cameroon and beyond. 🚀
