At Family Health and Development Foundation FAHEDEF we believe food is more than nourishment — it is dignity, hope, and a tangible sign that a community cares. In October 2025, thanks to our program partner Siblings Keeper, FAHEDEF provided food to the families of Nkolanga’a. Our Community Health Workers and volunteers served with calm focus and compassion, and the day brought relief, conversation, and renewed trust between caregivers and community members.
Pictures of Feeding are below— moments of sharing, hands passing packages, and children receiving warm smiles. Peace for Feeding guided every exchange: families left with both food and the peace that someone stands with them.
One participant told FAHEDEF volunteers that for the first time that month she could plan three meals for her children per day because they are given food each month. That simple conversation led to a promise: monthly home visits, folic acid distribution, and ongoing health education so families can protect their children from malaria, keep up medication schedules, and access timely care.
Thank you, Siblings Sibling's Keeper Keeper, and thank you to our volunteers for turning compassion into action.
