“There's no Plan B.”

“So, what if it doesn't work?”

“Well, I'll only know if I try.”

The truth is, sometimes the reason we don't improve or stay consistent is that we don't just have a Plan B. We have Plan C, D, E, F… 😂

Thank God there are only 26 letters in the alphabet, or else some of you would have 92 options! 🤣

The moment things get difficult, we start looking for another option. When practice becomes uncomfortable, we stop. When progress is slow, we switch strategies. When we fail once, we begin to question whether we should continue at all.

But here's the simple truth, putting all your effort into something doesn't mean the journey will be easy.

You will have difficult days. You'll make mistakes. You may not see results as quickly as you expected. But if you stay focused, keep learning, and remain consistent, you give yourself a much better chance of achieving your goal.

Now, let's bring this home. 😉

If your Plan A is to become a better public speaker and improve your communication skills, then take that step today. Join Talent House Speakers, show up for training, practise consistently, learn from feedback, and keep improving.

Not Plan B: “I'll read a book titled ‘How to Become the Best Public Speaker in 7 Days.’” 😂

Not Plan C: “Maybe I'll wait until I have enough confidence.”

And definitely not Plan D: “I'll start next year.” 🤣

Well, you already know how that story ends!

You don't have to be perfect to start. You just have to be willing to keep going.

Make the decision. Commit to the process. Give yourself the opportunity to grow.

Your future self will thank you for it.

Have a wonderful day, fam! ✅

Whether you teach Public Speaking or Mathematics,
whether you teach in a classroom or an amphitheatre,
whether your students call you “Please, Madam” 😂 or “I, Sir”,
whether they call you Professor or Doctor,
whether you teach online or practically in the field

Today, we celebrate YOU!🎉

To all our coaches, trainers, and mentors at Talent House Speakers, we want to say a very big THANK YOU!❤️

Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thank you for your patience.
Thank you for correcting us when we get it wrong.
Thank you for challenging us to become better.
Thank you for investing your time and experience in others.

We appreciate you! 😉

But there's something interesting about teaching. At the end of the day, the ultimate teacher we all have is LIFE.

Yes, life continues to teach us lessons that cannot be taught in any classroom or found in any textbook.

✅Sometimes, the lessons come through success.
✅Sometimes through failure.
✅Sometimes through relationships, challenges, mistakes, and experiences.

So today, we celebrate not only the teachers who stand in front of us, but also the lessons life continues to teach us every single day.

What's one important lesson life has taught you?🤔

Leave it in the comment section below. 👇

Happy Teacher's Day! 🎓

“I really want to learn public speaking, but I’m too busy. Maybe when I have time.”

This is what you said in January.

And heyyy , guess what month it is?

OCTOBER! 😂

Ten months have passed, and you’re still waiting for that magical period when life suddenly becomes less busy.

But here's the thing: if you don't make up your mind to be intentional about learning and growing, there will always be an excuse.

Today, you'll say:

“It's raining. I can't go for training.”🌧️

Tomorrow:

“I don't have a fine dress to wear.” 🤦

Next week:

“It's Cameroon government .”😂

And before you know it, another year has passed.

The truth is, life will always give you a reason to postpone something. You have to decide that your growth is important enough to start despite the excuses.

So, what is that excuse you tell yourself whenever you don't want to do something? 😉

Drop it in the comment section. 😂👇

Welcome to October! 🎉

May this be the month you stop waiting for the perfect time and start making intentional moves toward becoming better.

Happy New Month from Talent House Speakers! 🎤❤️

“If you don't want to eat head fish, then go and catch a fish in the sea without a head.”

That's what my mom used to tell my sister. 😂

Think about it for a moment.

How possible is it to find a fish in the sea without a head? And even if you somehow find one, wouldn't you be wondering what happened to it before you decided to eat it? 😂

But you see, this story isn't really about head fish.

It's about you and me.🤣

Sometimes, we want the applause, the bookings, the recommendations, the popularity, the positive comments, the recognition and everything that comes with being good at public speaking.

That's the fleshy part of the fish the tail and the belly. 😉

But we don't want the head.

The head represents the part nobody really sees:

🔥The practice when nobody is watching.
🔥The awkwardness of your first attempts.
⚡The laughter and side comments when you don't get it right.
👉The speeches you practise over and over again.
👉The consistency to keep speaking even when you're tired.
👉The courage to step outside your comfort zone.
👉The willingness to learn, fail, receive feedback, and try again.

The truth is simple:

✅If you want the fish, you have to be ready to deal with the head.

And if you want the applause, the opportunities, and the confidence that come with becoming a better speaker, you must also be willing to embrace the work that comes before them.

Don't wish for the results while avoiding the process.

Leave your comfort zone. Start practising. Keep showing up.

Because the version of you that everyone will eventually applaud is being built in the moments when nobody is watching.

Yes, the rumours are true! After the end of each Talent House Speakers training session, we share something to eat. 😂

I mean, even Jesus ate with His disciples. 😅
As serious as His teachings were, there was still time to sit together, eat, and fellowship.

So, I didn't say you should attend our training sessions because of food oh 🤣

But if you know, you know. 😉

He who has ears, let him hear.😂

Beyond the training, we believe in building a community where we can learn, grow, connect, and enjoy moments together.

So come for the public speaking training and whatever happens after the training, well, you'll have to experience it yourself.😂🍽️

Happy Sunday, fam! ❤️

If you bought a piece of land in 1992 for 1 million FCFA, you could probably sell it today for 17 million FCFA or even more, depending on the location. 📈

That's the interesting thing about real estate. You buy when the price is low, hold onto it, and as the value of the land increases, so does the value of your investment.

Now think about the people who bought land when it was still relatively cheap. Some of those investments have become incredibly valuable today. Money 💰

The same principle applies to your public speaking skills.

When you invest in learning how to communicate effectively today, you're not just learning something for the moment. You're developing a skill that can continue to improve as you practice and gain experience.

The more you speak, the more you learn.
The more you practice, the more confident you become.
The better you communicate, the more valuable that skill becomes in your personal and professional life.

And unlike land, you carry this investment with you everywhere you go.

So, if you've been saying, “I'll start learning public speaking someday…”

What's stopping you from starting today?

Your future self may be grateful that you did.

Invest in yourself. Invest in your voice. Invest in your communication skills.

“Leadership is the quintessential embodiment of strategic influence, visionary stewardship, and the orchestration of collective human potential towards the attainment of transformative organizational objectives.”

That's what most people think a good public speaker should sound like. 😂

But honestly, even me typing that sentence had to pause and ask myself, “Wait… what did I just say?” 😂

Now, this is how a good public speaker sounds:

“Leadership is like being the driver of a bus. You are responsible for knowing where you are going and helping the people on the bus get there safely.”✅

Simple. Clear. Easy to understand.

Yes, as simple as that.

Because the goal of public speaking isn't to impress your audience with how many big words you know. The goal is to make sure your audience understands the message you're trying to communicate.

You can have an impressive vocabulary, use sophisticated expressions, and sound extremely intelligent but if your audience is sitting there wondering, “What exactly is this person saying?”, then something has gone wrong.🙃

At Talent House Speakers, one of the first things you learn is to know your audience.

Why?🤔

Because you don't speak to everyone the same way.

You learn to understand who you're speaking to, what they already know, and what language will make your message easier for them to understand. Then, you tailor your words accordingly.

A good public speaker doesn't simply ask:

“How can I sound intelligent?”

They ask:

“How can I make my audience understand?”

That's the difference.

Don't just speak to be heard. Speak to be understood.🔥
