FOJEF 2 Day 1: We are here!

EmpowerHer Tech Foundation is delighted to be present at the 2nd edition of the Forum de la Jeune Fille (FOJEF), taking place today at the 'Esplanade of the Mairie de Yaoundé 1er.'

As young girls come together to learn, share, dream and discover new possibilities, we are reminded of why we do what we do; to open doors, build confidence and equip the next generation to lead.

We are happy to be part of this beautiful initiative alongside Tsieli Land and other committed partners, creating spaces where girls can be heard, inspired, empowered, and express themselves.

Advancing Healthcare Through Technology 🇨🇲

On 23 September 2026, EmpowerHer Tech Foundation was honoured to be specially invited by the MINREX, Ministère des Relations Extérieures du Cameroun to a seminar held at the Ministry’s hall on the theme:

“Telemedicine at the Service of Equitable Access to Healthcare: The Experience of the Recover Foundation in Africa.”

The seminar brought together key stakeholders to discuss the future of healthcare and how technology can help make quality medical services more accessible, even in the most remote communities across Cameroon and Africa.

EmpowerHer Tech Foundation was represented by M. Norris Keba CHEKA, our Executive Director, and Mrs. Fandio Elvira, Director of Financial Affairs.

Organised by the Recover Foundation, the event was launched in the presence of the Secretary General of MINREX and the Ambassador of Spain to Cameroon

It was a valuable opportunity to learn, share ideas, build new connections, and explore practical solutions that can contribute to the development of our country.

At EmpowerHer Tech Foundation, we believe technology can help build a more inclusive future; where distance should never be a barrier to quality healthcare.

Together, we can use technology to create greater impact.
