⚽ Health Meets the Game in Tiko! 🩺

As part of our Healthy Holidays Campaign, On the 19th Community Echoes Foundation brought health, awareness, and empowerment straight to the community during the Tiko Sub-Divisional Inter-Quarter tournament at the Tiko Town Green Hall.

As part of our ongoing commitment to community health and wellness, we hosted a successful free HIV and syphilis testing outreach right in the heart of the action!

What We Achieved Together:

Over 200 Persons Tested: An incredible turnout of community members stepping up to know their status on the field!

Free & Confidential Testing: Empowering individuals in a safe, supportive environment.

Safer S*x Education: Distributing male condoms and providing hands-on demonstrations on correct usage.

Open Conversations: Breaking the stigma around sexual health and encouraging proactive wellness choices, especially among the youth and sports fans.

Thank you Tiko Sub-Divisional Inter-Quarter tournament, Winning on the field is great, but taking charge of your health is the ultimate victory! 💪🏾

May 28th is Menstrual Hygiene Day, and we are breaking the silence, smashing the taboos, and flowing with pride!

Menstruation is a sign of health, vitality, and life—yet millions worldwide still face shame, stigma, and a lack of basic resources.

It’s time to change the narrative.

What We Are Standing For Today:
Period Dignity: Ending the stigma because a natural bodily function should never cause shame.

Period Equity: Ensuring safe, affordable menstrual products are accessible to everyone, everywhere.

Period Power: Empowering girls and women to stay in school, chase their dreams, and lead without pauses.

"A period should end a sentence, not a girl's education or confidence."

Gearing towards Menstrual Hygiene Day 28th May ❣️

6 Weeks. Multiple Countries. 1 Mission: Period Dignity. 🔥

The Period with Pride Fellowship (PWP) officially wrapped up, and what an incredible journey it has been! Over the last six weeks, phenomenal changemakers from different corners of the globe came together to share ideas, break taboos, and build a world where menstruation is managed with absolute dignity. 🌍❤️

We are beyond proud to announce that our very own representative from the Community Echoes Association was part of this inspiring cohort! Over the intensive 6-weeks program, they collaborated with global fellows to develop local strategies to tackle period poverty, drive menstrual health education, policy implementation/gaps, smash the surrounding stigma.

A global exchange for a local impact. The knowledge and connections gained here will directly fuel our upcoming community initiatives!

Now, it is time to take these global insights and put them into action right here at home. Stay tuned as we roll out new projects inspired by the fellowship!
