Where determination meets passion for change, a beacon of hope is born. It takes a village to raise a child and it takes passion, determination, and dedication to shape a future.

Today, we proudly celebrate one of our own Seka Jean Blaise, president of the DeWise Foundation, has officially begun a new journey as a at the African Union Commission in Addis Ababa.

Selected as one of only 12 fellows across Africa for the AU Digital & Innovation Fellowship, this achievement reflects not only excellence, but a deep commitment to driving impact across the continent.

Beyond this milestone, Jean Blaise has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication through his work DeWise Foundation, Mboa Hub, Open Dreams, and many other initiatives. Those who have worked alongside him or witnessed his journey can attest to his discipline, vision, and unwavering commitment to service.

- Extending essential medication shelf life from 1 day to over 365 days
- Slashing medication spoilage by 99% and energy costs by up to 80% (goodbye diesel generators!)
- Launching , an innovative telemedicine platform for remote consultations โ€“ no more long journeys for rural patients
- Empowering 50 youngCameroonians as clean energy and health innovators through the DeWise Energy Transition Fellowship

Today we proudly spotlight Adio Marcel , an active volunteer at DeWise foundation who has now moved to Mauritius to pursue a Computer Science degree at the African Leadership College of Higher Education under Mastercard foundation scholarship.

Marcel is a talented visual storyteller who works in videography, photography, and video editing, using creative media to capture powerful moments and share impactful stories.

As an active volunteer with the DeWise Foundation, Marcel has played an important role in documenting and amplifying our work. Through his lens, he has produced videos and photographs during our workshops, trainings, and community impact activities, helping showcase the stories, learning moments, and real change happening through our programs.

His creativity and dedication also extend to digital content creation and social media support, helping youth-focused initiatives strengthen engagement and build stronger communities through storytelling.

โ€‹We are beyond thrilled to announce that WiseCool has been selected as one of only 9 semifinalists globally to compete in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Climate and Energy Prize (MIT CEP) Semifinals in Munich, Germany!

โ€‹Out of a pool of incredible innovations worldwide, our mission to revolutionize clean energy and cold storage has earned a spot on one of the most prestigious stages in the climate tech ecosystem.

The MIT CEP is the largest and longest-running multi-university climate energy prize in the world. Being recognized by this platform is an honour and a validation of our commitment to sustainable cooling solutions that empower communities while protecting the planet.

Next stop: Germany. Weโ€™ll be pitching alongside some of the brightest minds in energy to prove that local innovation can solve global challenges.
