DeWise Foundation wishes every student in Cameroon a special and safe return to school.

As a new academic year begins, we encourage all students to start strong โ€” stay focused, stay disciplined, and prepare early for outstanding results.

Remember: the best time to prepare for success is today. Start reading, start studying, and stay consistent.

Wishing all students, parents, and teachers a productive and successful school year.

We are proud to announce that our Country Director, Awantu Christian, is currently in Kenya as a selected participant of the prestigious Diplomacy Academy (CDA).

Organized by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in partnership with the on Climate, Governance and Development, this program is designed to strengthen the capacity of African professionals in climate negotiations and diplomacy.

Hundreds of applications were received from across Africa. Only 30 candidates were shortlisted, and Awantu Christian is the only Cameroonian among them.

This achievement reflects strong leadership, dedication, and the growing role of Cameroonian professionals in shaping Africaโ€™s climate future. His participation will further enrich DeWise Foundationโ€™s work in clean energy, climate action, and sustainable development.

Congratulations, Awantu Christian. We are proud of you and the flag you continue to raise for Cameroon.

DeWise Foundation, in partnership with Mboa Hub, trained over 100 young people from Yaoundรฉ in Climate Justice and Advocacy approaches during the Open Dreams Summer Academy 2026

A powerful highlight of the session was the story of ๐–๐š๐ง๐ ๐š๐ซ๐ข ๐Œ๐š๐š๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ข the first African woman to win the Nobel Peace Prize. Her courage in planting trees, defending the environment, and standing up for her community deeply motivated the students and showed them that climate justice requires both awareness and bold action.

This session aligns with DeWise Foundationโ€™s objective of empowering children in climate education and sustainability.

When leaders like Wangari Maathai inspire young people, they become stronger advocates for clean energy access and healthier communities.

Thank you to the Mboa Hub team for this impactful collaboration!

This milestone is a powerful reminder that when we come together, collaborate, and stay committed, even the impossible becomes possible.

Weโ€™re now in the final stretch, with just a few finishing touches before WiseCool becomes fully operational.

One step at a time. One milestone at a time. Weโ€™re getting there.

Stay with us as we take the final steps toward clean energy and reliable healthcare delivery for underserved communities.
