Women in Humanitarian Dynamics (WIHD) launched its inaugural Kids' Coding Summer Camp in Buea, Cameroon, from June 5 to August 10, 2024.
We are overjoyed to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our young coders who embarked on this transformative journey with exceptional commitment and a passion for learning. The camp was far more than a series of coding lessons; it was a dynamic and engaging adventure that sparked curiosity and facilitated significant personal growth among the kids aged 8-16.
Over the course of these transformative weeks, the kids delved into the captivating world of coding, developing their technical skills while also experiencing personal growth in a nurturing and inspiring environment.
Our mission for the camp was to elevate information technology literacy and enhance educational outcomes. The project was designed to have a lasting positive impact, equipping the kids with essential skills that will benefit them in their future endeavors.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated WIHD Cameroon team for their tireless efforts and persistent commitment, which were crucial in making this summer camp a success.
Congratulations to all our young coders for their exceptional achievements and for making this summer camp experience truly unforgettable!
