This website was built and handed over to us completely free of charge by Droplets58 , as part of their mission to serve humanity and in recognition of the work WIVADEV is doing. We are deeply grateful for this generous gift.

WIVADEV Champions Dignity and Healing for the Next Generation | A Girl Without Tears Annual Conference, Yaounde 7th and 8th of August 2026.

On The 7th and 8th of August 2026, the Executive Director and Founder of Women Imparting Values for Development - Wivadev alongside two WIVADEV mentees participated in a seminal event in Yaounde - A Girl Without Tears Annual Conference organized by Eleanor's Foundation For Empowering Girls EFFEG , one of WIVADEV's Partners.

On the 8th, Barr. Martina Ajie Azaah epse Enow, joined a distinguished panel of women from different walks of life to educate the girl child on dignity, healing and finding herself. Her session centered on identifying hidden hurts, finding best healing practices and finding your voice. She helped the audience understand the sources of hidden hurts - including childhood trauma from emotional abuse, the Loss of loved ones, sexual violence, mistakes, amongst others. She also shared ways to heal like, accepting that the hurt happened and caused pains, but refusing to let it define you, Forgiving yourself even if you think you contributed to the issue, Seeing yourself from the lens of your Creator not the situation, accepting to let go and start all over and finding help from the right people.

At the end of the session, with the permission of the Host and Founder of EFFEG Mme. Nnam Eleanor F., Barr. Enow Martina opened a session to nominate Ambassadors for the Conference and assigned each of them tasks to carry out before the end of the Holidays. She distributed one copy of each of her books (Chronicles of The Survivors and The Resilient Girl's Pledge) and a copy of A Girl Without Tears by the Host and Resilience Code by another Speaker.

The program was a very great opportunity to invest into over 100 girls and be an inspiration to the next generation of female leaders who would identify areas which can cause them pain and tears and make wise decisions to avoid them. At the end, WIVADEV was presented with a certificate of recognition for the support and partnership.

WOMAN EH, WUNNA PLACE DEY PROJECT - GBV AMBASSADORS TRAINING | WIVADEV REPRESENTED

Buea, 27th - 29th May 2026 — RECAP

From 27th - 29th May, WIVADEV joined 22 other youths at IYA Restaurant, Buea, for the GBV Ambassadors Training under the "Woman Eh, Wunna Place Dey" Project by AfriYAN, supported by UNFPA through GIZ-EU and MINJEC.

Key highlights:

Day 1 Understanding GBV: PSEA and zero tolerance, SRH, consent and rights, and safe-space dialogues on being a man/woman in Cameroon.

Day 2 Mindset Shift: Masculinity is socially constructed. We challenged toxic norms, learned positive masculinity, and practiced active listening and referral.

Day 3 - Leading Action:Leadership is about trust, survivor-centered referral with the Referral Pathway Booklet, documentation, and development of 3-month community action plans.

For the WIVADEV team, this was more than training. We return with a new mindset: GBV is preventable when we act together, and youth can truly lead change. Our action plan is set.
