Tobrin is a community organisation aimed at employing school dropouts.This organization is involved in the production, packaging and selling of raw food.

Tobrin is an organization that takes youths out of the streets and takes them into the organization. Our motto is “take out and bring in” hence the name tobrin. This sector is involved in the production, packaging and selling of raw food. We started off with what is known in Cameroon as “eru” – Gnetum africanum. This organization has two main objectives:
To get youths trained with skills in

agriculture, get them employed, in a bid to eventually get them off the streets. The organization pays people to train them in the processing of the crop. Most of these crops are not planted in Kumbo, So we buy the unprocessed crop, process it and then transport the finished products to different localities in Cameroon for sale. Those who do the selling, have a given target. If they sell above that target the surplus is theirs. They are trained to handle different processing units and with these acquired skills they become useful to their community.
