Beyond Wheat: Expanding Africa’s Organic Grain Future 🌱🌾

Building on its successful organic wheat value chain, LELIV Cameroon is strategically introducing barley and oats cultivation and production value chains to local farming communities in Banten, in the highlands of Bui Division, North West Region of Cameroon.

All crops are cultivated using 100% organic practices, driven by locally produced organic liquid manure, ensuring healthier food, improved soil fertility, and climate-resilient agriculture. This initiative unlocks strong opportunities for nutrition security, value addition, and scalable agribusiness models rooted in sustainability.

LELIV Cameroon is now seeking strategic investment partnerships to scale this proven organic grain model beyond Banten, across Cameroon and the wider African continent, empowering communities, strengthening value chains, and delivering measurable social, environmental, and economic returns.

Invest in organic. Invest in communities. Invest in Africa’s future.🌍✨

A Year of Growth and Innovation with LELIV Cameroon 🌱

The year has been a truly successful and inspiring one for LELIV CIG in its farms at Banten, Nkum Subdivision, located in the highlands of Bui Division, North West Region of Cameroon.
For the past three years, LELIV CIG has consistently promoted wheat cultivation in this fertile highland community. Building on this strong foundation, the organization took a bold and innovative step this year by introducing barley and oats cultivation, using quality seeds imported from the United States of America. The results so far are highly encouraging, with all crops showing healthy and vigorous growth.
Notably, all crops have been cultivated strictly using organic liquid manure produced by LELIV CIG, formulated from Tithonia diversifolia and animal dung. This natural and eco-friendly approach reflects LELIV CIG’s long-standing commitment to sustainable organic agriculture, soil health restoration, and the production of safe, nutritious food.
These achievements further strengthen LELIV CIG’s resolve to scale up production in the coming year while deepening efforts in agricultural diversification. The organization remains committed to encouraging local farmers in Banten to adopt healthier, nutrient-rich crops, improve their well-being, and commercialize their own produce for improved household incomes and community resilience.
As we look ahead, LELIV CIG continues to champion organic farming as a pathway to food security, environmental sustainability, and sustainable livelihoods. The future is organic, and the journey continues. 🌾🌱
