We are survivors. We speak. You act. 💪🏽
Today, Survivors’ Network Cameroon launched a powerful online campaign, featuring messages from 30 survivor leaders across Africa. They are exposing the horrors of human trafficking, and urging communities to act, report, and protect vulnerable youth.
Every message is a call to action:
“No child belongs in chains. Speak up. Protect futures.”
“Silence protects traffickers. Your voice can save a life.”
“We survived to fight for those still trapped.”

📢 Join the movement! Share these messages, tag friends, and help spread awareness. Together, we can break the chains of trafficking and build safer communities.

Today, October 11th, we join the global community in celebrating the International Day of the Girl Child!

The theme for 2025, "The girl I am, the change I lead: Girls on the Frontline of crisis," reminds us that girls are not just victims in challenging times, they are innovators, leaders, and powerful agents of change in their own lives and communities.
In line with this spirit of empowerment, we are so proud to have recently completed a hands-on Training Workshop on Local Snack Production for a brilliant group of young women!
This training was more than just learning recipes; it was about economic empowerment. By equipping these girls with practical skills to produce and market popular local snacks, we are helping them:

🔑 Unlock their entrepreneurial potential

💰 Create their own source of income

Build a foundation for financial independence

Happy International Day of the Girl Child!

🌍 World Mental Health Day 2025
Theme: Mental Health in Humanitarian Emergencies

Today, we join the world in recognizing that beyond food, water, and medicine, survivors also need mental health and psychosocial support to cope, recover, and rebuild their lives.
In times of crisis, trauma doesn’t end when the conflict or disaster does, the healing continues long after. Let’s stand together to ensure that every survivor has access not only to physical safety but also to emotional and psychological recovery.
Because a true humanitarian response means caring for both the body and the mind.

Survivors’ Network Cameroon, with support from the Get Up, Rise Up –Beautiful Trouble Direct Action Fund, carried out a powerful anti–human trafficking awareness and sensitization at College Zutochie, Bertoua.
Over 300 students heard survivor leaders share their lived experiences, stories of pain turned into purpose. Together, we broke the silence around human trafficking and armed young people with knowledge to identify, resist, and report exploitation in their communities.
“Human trafficking ends when we all rise.”
We thank the school administration, teachers, and students of College Zutochie for standing with us in this movement for freedom and justice.
👉 Talk about human trafficking in your home, your school, your street.
👉 Report suspicious recruiters.
👉 Support survivor voices, they are the heartbeat of this movement.

Standing united against injustice!
We were proud to join the Global Interfaith Weekend, a powerful event sponsored by Justice for Africa to raise critical awareness about human trafficking and child marriage.
With signs held high, the Survivors' Network team came together to advocate for a world where every child is safe and free from harm. We believe in the power of collective action to create lasting change.
Let's continue to be a voice for the voiceless, Say No to Human Trafficking and Say No to Child Marriage.

Today, we honor the courage, compassion, and sacrifice of humanitarian workers across the globe and especially those serving in hardto reach communities.
At Survivors’ Network (SN), Cameroon / Africa, we stand in solidarity with women, men, and children caught in crises, and we pay tribute to the frontline workers who risk everything to bring hope, dignity, and protection.

This year’s World Humanitarian Day reminds us that humanity knows no borders. Together, we must continue to act with compassion, protect the vulnerable, and build safe spaces where survivors can heal and thrive.

💙 To every humanitarian worker: thank you for your unwavering dedication.
✊ To every survivor: your resilience inspires us every day.
