About Us
LODE Cameroon is a non-profit association legally recognized in conformity with the provisions of Cameroon's Law N° 90/053 of December 19th, 1990. LODE Cameroon was founded in 2015 and registered with registration N° 069/RDA/F.34/SAAJP on the 23rd of June 2021 by the Ministry of Territorial Administration (MINAT). VISION

SSION
"Combating extreme poverty and social injustice in the community for a sustainable local development". GOALS
We work with communities to enhance and improve their living conditions in the following areas:
1- Environment protection and climate change
We work with communities to restore degraded lands, preserve biodiversity and promote the fight against climate change through reforestation and the promotion of good farming practices.
2- Food security and agricultural value chains development
We do promote good and sustainable farming methods to ameliorate both qualitative and quantitative agricultural productivity. Likewise, we promote the distribution of good and ameliorated seeds to communities. Furthermore, we monitor farmer’s activities and create market opportunities for farmers.
3- Entrepreneurship and sustainable development
We do promote and train youths and Women in Income Generating Activities(IGA). We help communities to create social enterprises or ventures through our entrepreneurship program in order to improve communities living conditions and move them from poverty to wealth. Not only that, but we strive to break the dependency rate among women and youths in the rural community.
4- Health
We fight against Prenatal and Neonatal mortality in remote areas where access to hospitals and health centres is difficult. We promote the fight against breast and prostatic cancer, fight against HIV-AIDs, Malaria, Typhoid, and some tropical diseases.
5- Education
We Promote accessibility to education for poor families through grants, construction of schools, and staff support to schools.
6- Water and sustainable energy
We promote equal access to water for communities. We also promote the distribution of solar energy and biogas energy in the remote community where purchasing power is low and communities use mainly fuel, wood, and kerosene as their source of energy.
7- Sustainable Peace and Social cohesion
We prevent conflicts within communities and encourage inter-community dialogue and pacific coexistence within rural and urban communities through training, sports, and cultural activities. We work in empowering youths to break down the cycle of mistrust and marginalization.
8- Gender-based violence
We strive to break the myth of gender inequalities. We create means and ways for women to integrate themselves in community development processes in remote areas through education, entrepreneurship, income-generating activities, and social insertion. CORE VALUES
