Ma FAMILLE UK (My FAMILY UK); the African community group for local African residents and refugees based in Greater Manchester.

Ma Famille UK (My Family UK) is an African community group, with a Cameroonian majority, which aim to provide support for local African residents and refugees based in Greater Manchester.
- OUR VISION:
Inclusion and adaptation to the UK culture and system.

- OUR VALUE:
Social integration: We support members and their families to settle into the British culture and community and to feel at home,

by sharing our experience and challenges. Educational activity: Skill-sharing activities such a proofreading work, translating forms and CVs write up and reviews
History and heritage: The future generation is part of our main focus. We organise workshop to pass on our culture, history and heritage. Charity: We provide some financial and material supports to some charities back in Cameroon.

Ma Famille Manchester is honored to support the ongoing Free Eye Care Outreach led by Visio Arcade Eye Care Foundation, taking place in Douala from 9th to 12th April 2026 👁️💙

Our contribution includes a financial donation, along with the active participation of two of our members—Picard, part of the optician team, and Julio—who are volunteering on-site alongside the opticians in Cameroon.

During these impactful days, the Visio Arcade team, supported by dedicated volunteers, is delivering vital eye screenings, consultations, and care to the community—bringing improved vision and renewed hope to many.

This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting better access to healthcare and creating a meaningful impact where it is needed most.

A sincere thank you to Picard and Julio for proudly representing Ma Famille and helping turn our shared vision into reality. 🙌
