THEME: *PRAY FOR THOSE IN AUTHORITY*
(1 Timothy 2:1-2Kjv)
*I exhort, therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men.*
*For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.*
Scientifically, it is proven that salt has a preservative power. Jesus in *Mathew 5:13* called us the salt of the earth, meaning we are the ones to preserve the peace of our nations. God, in his abundant wisdom, has given us according to the scripture above the way to live peaceable on this earth. That is to pray for those in authority.
According to the word of God, praying for those in authority is the divine method to bring into existence good governance into the nation. Sometimes, we are fast to complain when the leaders appointed over us are not doing their jobs, we also fellow unbelievers to insults and curse them.
As a child of God, we have a divine responsibility to consistently pray for them. Don't neglect them in your prayers, or get tired of interceding for them because through your prayers, God can bring great change in that country, job, family, or assembly. You're to pray for all those in authority both from the highest rank to the lowest. Remember, the scripture says *all those in authority.*
Beloved you have a duty to pray for all in authority, stop joining others to complain about bad governance, corruption, insecurity unemployment etc, intercede for them in prayer irrespective of who they are or what they are doing. Don't forget that for you to live a quiet and peaceful life is tight to your prayers for them.

Heavenly Father thank you for giving me the responsibility to pray for those in authority, i declare peace in my nation, I refuse to hate those assigned over me, I degree wisdom upon them in Jesus Name.
