Breaking News . USA 🇺🇸 DV LOTTERY 2027 is starting 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻.
Finally, the U.S. Department of State is making a move on the Diversity Visa Lottery (Green Card Lottery) and the rules are changing.
If you want to apply for the next Green Card visa lottery (DV-2027), here are the biggest things you need to know 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
- You must now have a valid passport before you can play the lottery ( Passport must not be expired )
- You must enter your passport information and upload the passport page with your photo and date . ( The biometrics page )
- There will be a $1 registration fee when submitting the entry. This is a must ✔️✔️✔️
- The form will now use "s*x" instead of "gender" ( you must be either a girl or a boy only )
Note that , These new rules were just published and will go into effect about April 10-11, 2026. ( The department of state said 30 days from the day this rules were published ) .
That means the visa lottery registration dates should be announced soon, and the next entry period will likely open sometime after mid-April 2026.
If you plan to play the green card lottery, make sure you have a valid passport ready by then.
